Lord Carnage and Catherine fought many mighty beasts and then retired to the city to replenish their strength with food and good humour.

Catherine was now spending most of her time with her beloved, Manijuana. They hunted all kinds of monsters together but mostly focused on those that might drop items that they both needed. Their dedication paid off in both experience as well as items.



Catherine and Manijuana took a Great Slicer from a Dreadlord and Catherine kept the weapon for Tanking because it provided much more defense than her usual weapon, the Pirate Sword. She would keep the Pirate Sword, of course, for when she hunted alone and needed the extra damage.




Not long after taking the Slicer, Manijuana and Catherine set out on a Mammoth hunt and found a Ring of Strength, which gives the wearer the ability to hit with more force and do more damage. Catherine claimed this precious item as her own and promised Manijuana many favours in exchange for his half of what the ring would have been worth on the Market.


Catherine still needed a new shield and perhaps a pair of legs or a skirt and Manijuana needed something for himself so the two lovers promised to continue their hunts together and not stop until they took all they needed.

Manijuana and Catherine went back to the mammoths two days later and after killing quite a few of the gigantic beasts, they took a very nice helmet from one of them.



Not long after their triumph, Catherine was defeated when three mammoths attacked her at once. She lost one of her Melee skills and a lot of experience. Thankfully, Manijuana was able to solo all three mammoths after her defeat and returned safety to town to meet with her.

Catherine and her friend Baron traded a couple items and Catherine finally had a new shield. Since her old, ugly steel buckler looked more like a platter than a shield, she put that one in the house on the dining room table for decoration and donned her new cosmic shield for battle.


Now all she needed was a new set of legs and she would no longer have any items she could be ashamed of. She still wanted a new armour as well but the legs took lop priority. For today, though, all she wished for was a training partner.

Catherine! I <3 you cause of all these :D We must go hunting sometime!

Lord Carnage and Catherine hunted werebears and dreadlords one evening, taking a helmet from one of the vicious bears. Catherine gave the loot to Lord Carnage.



The next day Catherine set out once again with Manijuana and they finally took a pair of silver leg guards for Catherine. She was so happy to finally replace her old brass leg protectors, though of course she still longed for the elusive steel legs. For now she would be content to enjoy the extra protected afforded by the silver.

Catherine and manijuana continued to hunt together daily and they were pleased to be spending so much time together.
Catherine advanced in experience more slowly than manijuana but still she moved forward:


They fought many elders, werebears, mammoths and dreadlords together.


They did not have as much luck as they had previously enjoyed, but still they always came away from the hunts with items and gold.

Manijuana took Catherine out for drinks at the tavern and Catherine had a few too many. After several beers she decided it would be a good idea to go hunting so they headed out, beers in hand, to the caves south-west of Ben Qarassih. Catherine drunkenly stumbled down the ladder and through the cave's tunnels, a found some Giant Beetles to fight. Even though she was intoxicated and stumbling and hiccuping, The Giant Beetles were still no match for her and Manijuana. They squashed them like the bugs they are and returned to their party.


The next day (when they'd sobered up and recovered) Manijuana and Catherine went out to the werebears.

And after that they went to Elder Ents, where they enjoyed quite a bit of luck.


Catherine and Manijuana decided to get a pet for their home in Culthan. They wanted a wolf but since they spent so much time out hunting, they wanted something easier to care for. Something that didn't need a lot of attention. So they decided on a pet and brought it home to live with them.
