The Test Server is currently closed for the next round of changes.
This is the initial test of our Balancing Roadmap in a series of many changes. The aim of the first Test Server is to bridge the experience/hour gap between classes. We hope to strike a fair balance by adding new buffs and without making any major nerfs. These new changes apply to player vs monster combat only. Please have the patience to work with us towards the optimal changes! Warrior - Buffed Sweeping Swipe to scale approximately by player level. Maximum damage has a soft cap at 500 points. - Decreased cooldown of Cleave to two (2) seconds. Reduced damage by 15%. Ranger - Added Ricochets to Offensive Imminence and Belligerent Focus buffs. When active, one or two ricochets may split from the target towards other nearby monsters. Ricochets inflict 50% and 25% damage respectively. - Decreased cooldown of Hellish Volley to three (3) seconds. Mage - Buffed Advanced Soul Fire to scale closer by player level. Maximum damage has a soft cap at 500 points. - Buffed the damage of Hailstorm, Thunderbolt, Rock Thrust, Soul Incinerator, Life Drain & Deathblow by 10%. - Reduced radial damage of Inferno towards edges by approximately 20%. - Reduced cooldown of Cross of Annihilation to two (2) seconds. Changelog Quoting Changes & fixes: - Added item tooltips to the trade window. - Added a gold star to equipment attributes that are the top in their category. - Increased drop rate of Templar collectibles. - Fixed button appearance after resizing panels. - Fixed chat log scroll bar issues. - Fixed incorrect potion stats on tooltips. - Buffed the damage of Hailstorm, Thunderbolt, Rock Thrust, Soul Incinerator, Life Drain & Deathblow by 10%. - Reduced radial damage of Inferno towards edges by approximately 20%. - Reduced cooldown of Cross of Annihilation to two (2) seconds. and 1 more time u fuck with pyro and the other vocation have a buff? that make no sense u debuf pyromancer and u buf the other vocation if u do that u gonna just kill the pyromancers |

Physical resistance given by talents still dont appears correctly on stats. Magic resistance is okay. Btw Belligerent Focus 4% negation of damage is working? cuz it's not in spell description yet. |

Nice that the single target classes get buffed. I fear that the ranger buff is mainly for teamhunts and not so much for solo hunts. They want single targets, so not much option for splitting and when there are multiple targets the damage on those is too weak to be significant considering the healing of mobs. Hopefully tests will show different.
The soft caps seems unfortunate for the high levels. Taking a good spell away from them and option for scaling. The rest seems solid at a first glance. |

It looks promising, i will test some later tonight.
A minor nerf on pyro and some buffs on the other classes might close the gap a little bit. Thats awesome. Pyromancers will still be superior on solo exp and still boost on party exp. If the gap between the classes gets closer by minor changes rhen im all in for it. |

Hi, Pyromancers have had a significant advantage in experience per hour for a long time which is not ideal. The idea is to just soften the gap between the experience per hour, not completely close it. The damage reduction of Inferno is greater at the edge of the spell, close proximity damage is not affected as much. Will have to look into the stats window. I assume you are referring to the Fortification talent? It is described as melee defense whereas the Physical Resistance in Stats window is considered physical damage. Rangers should be able to hunt more efficiently alone having the option to hit multiple targets more often. The soft cap is currently there to prevent these spells from becoming too powerful, the damage will still increase but the rate is greatly decreased. These spells are low level spells in the first place. Considering this is the initial test, these numbers can still be adjusted based on player feedback. keep in mind that spell damage changes are only considered in PVM combat. -Mercury |

Why not change the strength of hell with pyromancer rain? type : 1s spell, inferno (2s spell with current rain damage), 3s spell, 4s spell (rain), this makes inferno not the pyromancer's target spell.
Soon the strongest magic of the pyro will beat the same thing as the other magician classes, but with an absurd level difference. |

Cross of annihilation 2s is really great idea... If I only knew that in the past...
Increasing dmg of shaman and wrl was being proposed long time ago, good we receive that finally It seems that rogue is abandoned... You made changes for both rangers, but I can heavily point, that marksman is way ahead of rogue... being really strong at team hunts, while rogue is completely useless while aoe hunting with team... I am really disappointed that pyro received a nerf, but I hope it wont get worse... if it stays like this, it will be acceptable loss And at the end, the most abandoned subclass which nobody wants to play, making the worse exp/h (one 770 lvl paladin was proving that for 6 months making 100 mln exp everyday), very fragile warrior - paladin - went back for 2s cleave... OMG... (spoiler: hard irony detected) Please do something with rogue, its really way behind the other classes... |
