CM Mercury,

Paladin changes are perfect. (Cleave and sweeping swipe) - Spells rotation flows easier now.

Warlock changes are good enough specially Cross of Annihilation to two (2) seconds. It's a simple but important damage increase.

Shaman changes are not enough yet. Hailstorm needs between 15% ~ 20% more damage besides those initially 10% to get a decent damage for this AOE spell.

It depends what they wanted to achieve with these changes if the they wanted the gap to go from 120% to 100% then they've done well, if they want any sort of balance, these minor changes do close to nothing.

The ranger Ricochet will only be good once you have super high distance and on lower level monsters, currently you would run 1 monster at a time to limit the amount of healing needed so you can auto and spam your 1 second spell, if you put another monster in to this mix and it increases the amount of globals you need to use on healing this will actually result in a damage nerf.

The 10% for mages is around 8.5-9% due to their wand doing around 10% of their overall damage this will result in a gain of 1.4kk EXP increase based on 15.5kk/h (Pharos), while a pyro would be getting 30kk+ (The gap gets bigger the higher the level).

Barbarians got nothing really, so their exp stays similar to now, meaning they're still over 100% behind pyros.

Paladins will now be closer to pyros and probably the second highest class for exp/h, but that gap will still be 100% 550 paladin getting around 24-26kk/h while a 550 pyro gets around 49-52kk/h.

I believe that now, the difference between paladin and barbarian is smaller than before.. the xph now of paladin will get close to barbarian, barbarian needs something new now to distance itself from paladin again, it is a damage class and little tank and paladin very tank with more damage now, it is unfair the xph of the two subclasses... is there any change planned for the barbarian class now? paladin is comfortably better to play and now will get close in xph

i dont think the new paladin change is bad, i like it... but i feel that paladin gets closer to barbarian now and with more comfort because he tank more and barbarian suffers and gets little more xph

maybe the barbarian shockwave hits the sides? just like rage of fury: higher front damage and reduced side damage

My opinion on the changes;

Paladin: Overal approx 25% buff in exp per hour. Which is good, their rotation is better now.

Ranger: The ricochets has no impact on solo ranger gameplay, only in very rare occasions where you dont take Magic Damage. In teamhunts it would add a little bit more value.

Right now if a ranger decides to run with 2-3 he would lose more damage output because he has to heal more. Therefor he stops using his 1 second spells. Ranger would actually lose on exp per hour by trying to hunt Ricochets style.

Barbarian: Close to no difference

Pyromancer: First of all it looks like a overall 20% dmg nerf, not radial 20% dmg nerf. I would have to test more tomorrow to have a more detailed explanation. That with the Advanced soulfire buff I think the 20% nerf is more like 10% if they decide to use Advanced instead of Fire Rain.

Mages: Haven't tested it yet, looks like a basic 8-9% dmg increase.

Order of the "Food chain" by exp wise;

#1 Pyromancer

80% exp gap

#2 Paladin

Gap 15-25%

#3 Barbarian

BIG GAP 50%~

# Warlock, Shaman, Marksman, Rogue

The numbers would need to be changed heavily to even have a meaningful impact, even after these changes I would bet Pyros are still 100% ahead of all others.

dude i don't know why it's so hard to understand that pyro has 5 stars in dmg, and that spells are focused on area damage, old man if you think pyromancer is wonderful start playing pyro it's so simple, but for you it's easier spends the day with his butt on the chair watching char uping in the script and wants to do the same pyromancer xp, goes to study and work and looks for something useful in life that keeps hammering on the same key

I believe that the drop rate of the templar collectibles needs to be increased a bit

I found some errors in the bestiary tab, the coin bar for buff and the kill counter, enraged and elite

minimizing the set to only show sword, shield and bag is still buggy

I liked the new changes. Good job staff :D
However, like some players said about it the exp/h gap is still alive for wls, shamans and rangers so i would like to suggest some improvements:

Warlock: Increase Cross of annihilation basic damage (+20%)
- keeping new cooldown of 2 seconds.

Shaman: Increase Hailstorm basic damage (+33%)

Rangers: Increase Hellish volley damage (+25%)
- keeping new cooldown of 3 seconds.

Congratulations to all the zezenia community, they have already achieved their goal, the pyro is already useless in exp and in pvp.
Now only barbarian and paladin are missing again since cleave returned to 2s

About Warlocks: The solo perspective.

This change seems a rookie decision, any staff member tested this? just killed combo fluency, and killed one more spell (Soul Incinerator), who is responsible to manage HP, damage and stack a spell to your combo at all. I mean, this decision of putting cross at 2s cooldowns, force us to sacrifice soul incinerator to use a cross spell(bcuz cross have more damage than SI, so casting cross gives more dps and also, matters in the time of the combo. A.K.A DB+ LD + Cross.), so that we have more dps optimization.

So yes, basically warlocks got a boost in their DPS, but sacrificing a important sustain into his combo( If dps optimization is the focus).

:smartass:

Also, both buffs to 4s spell of 10%, is kinda lame you know?! Whats is the difference between warlocks and shamans? just the Cross? Some DoT(Damage Over Time) based spells would be appreciated, like lasting pain, but a weaker version to other spells, or just add some base damage to Death Blow, if is too difficult to add more mechanics on this class...
