- Add NPC's named like "Ellaria Citizen", for exemple, with no function, just walking around and "living" their lives.

Adding more NPCs with no functions would be nice, it's weird to know every NPC is either a shop keeper or has a role in a quest. They've put dogs and chickens to make the towns a little more lively, but it still doesn't seen enough.

Quoting Lion The Warmaster:
- Create libraries on specific places, with some books containing fragments of the world lore, or local history. Things about terrible monsters and deep and dark dungeons. (Tips for quests).

We already had something similar in the last Culthan's version, dunno why they haven't imported that to Ellaria.

Quoting Lion The Warmaster:
- Add some merchants NPC's that walk from city to city, just to act like some merchant caravans.

Merchant caravans would be nice, specially if they had some differential on their shopping system to value or undervalue items (like runescape's general merchant).

Quoting Lion The Warmaster:
- Add guards on the city, that attack people killers. "Murderer, You're under arest!"

This sounds a little harsh because there are multiple reasons you can get murderer state (mostly accidentally) and having it on is a burden heavy enough to punish them. Instead, it would be nice if those "citizen NPCs" shouted "Murderer!" when they get nearby.

Quoting Lion The Warmaster:
- I'd like to see more date events.

Back in Al Shadiqah we had scheduled melket raids, I think they removed it because nobody attended to them. I support that, tho, it would be nice if they added it back, at least in areas isolated from the town, so the monsters wouldn't harass people.

Quoting Lion The Warmaster:

- Add bards on the taverns and streets, singing about old times and honorable heroes. (Like the NPC Johannes on bersund).

- Add some merchants NPC's that walk from city to city, just to act like some merchant caravans.

Both sounds like good inspirations for me, got even some ideas related to first one.

Akolix please, everyone know about the legendary ole tale about Culthan Ruins...
Hrekkand, an exiled orknie leader...Once a great part of the war between the orknies and the dwarves.

Hrekkand was born with only one leg, growing up he couldnt take part in great raids or in nasty wars like the other orknies.
Hrekkand became very lonely and depressed. Instead of raiding and fighting battles Hrekkand used to listen to the orknie generals when they proudly yelled out their pre-war motivational speeches. Hrekkands mind became great and evolved on another level.

One day Hrekkand realized he would never lead any orknie troops to victory if he couldnt walk on two legs. Searching the orknie library Hrekkand found and old book, "The singing in our tree". The book told of ancient magic performed by nature itself, curing what is rotten and what is dead. The book was signed by the letter "J" and what looked like a print of a branch.

Hrekkand knew that there was an old human in the city of Culthan whom had explored great fields of Nyrathia and produced the maps used by the humans. Perhaps this human would know who wrote the book. There was only one way to communicate with the humans, translations thru the dwarves. Hrekkand, brave as he was, made contact with a dwarf magician in the mountain halls who translated Hrekkands question and promised to take the note to the great explorer in Culthan. For this deed the dwarf demanded nothing but a promise, a promise saying that Hrekkand would never hurt one living creature for the rest of his life.

Nothing but a week later the dwarf surprised Hrekkand with the answers of his question. The signature "J" and the branch looking print was put down in the book by none other than Jovsrettok, the infamous leader of Ents. The explorer even gave Hrekkand a map of where to find Jovsrettok. As Hrekkand struggled to move and Jovsrettok being so far away, good ole Hrekkand asked the only orknie he could trust with this issue...His father.

Hrekkands father agreed to help. Two whole weeks went by without Hrekkand hearing from his father. Suddenly one day his father came running thru the door, he had managed to make a deal with Jovsrettok. Hrekkand got a new leg made out of magical wood grown only by the first rays of sun and in return Jovsrettok asked for an ancient robe guarded by the orknies.

Hrekkand now had everything he needed to become a great orknie general himself, just like his father.
It wouldnt take long before the other orknies realized Hrekkand had two functional legs, the rumors began..."This must be magic!"...
The great leader of the orknies decided that Hrekkand had what it takes to be an orknie general, the only thing left was to bring home blood of a powerful foe. Hrekkand had promised the dwarf that he wouldnt kill anything living ever. He thought that he could fool the old dwarf...Hrekkand sliced the head of a rabbit and brought the blood back. "Here is the blood from a dwarven magician, is that good enough!?"

Hrekkand had spilled blood...
The dwarf knew...
The dwarf set up a meeting with Hrekkand, saying that the explorer in Culthan had more notes to show Hrekkand.
Hrekkand excited for more secrets went to the dwarfs meeting. "You are allowed to come visit me in Culthan, just make sure you wear no sword and you shall not be harmed by anyone" read the note.

The next morning Hrekkand went of to Culthan, leaving his sword at home.
As expected the dwarf had set him up...
Hrekkand was captured and tortured by the humans in Culthan. The explorer knew instantly that this must be the one the dwarf had been translating for. The explorer opened up the cage where Hrekkand was being held. That was a mistake...Hrekkand quickly grabbed the explorers sword and killed the explorer in an instant.

Hrekkand managed to escape the city, when he came back to the orknie hideout he told the leader he had been tricked by the dwarves...A war raged on...Hrekkands great mind won the orknies many battles and he was recognized as a hero.
But Hrekkand felt something inside, it was deep and dark hate...Hate towards the humans who had tortured him for no real reason in Culthan.

Hrekkand announced a new war against the humans without the orknie leaders permit. The orknie leader had been in peace with the humans for over 100 years and he had no intention starting a war against such an intelligent faction, atleast not at the same time as he fought the dwarves.

Hrekkand got exiled for putting the orknie clan in such danger...
Hrekkand thought to himself..."Maybe if i show my power, destroying the city of Culthan...Then perhaps im welcome home again."
As thought, Hrekkand brought a small troop with him and surprised the city...People were killed on the spot and the city was laid to ruins...
After Hrekkand realized what a huge war and what a grave danger he had put the Orknie clan in, he couldnt go home...He grabbed his sword, his vengance... and took off for the mountains with the remaining orknies in his troop...

Mantus, I like your ideia of people shouting "murderer", very funny :p
But the "guards" that attack PK players, maybe weak creatures, just to create a Roleplay, they maybe difficult you to kill another people, because they trap the killer squares and let the other player run away. You know?

old books in the library with tips and treasure maps, like.

"walk 6 steps for the west and 2 for south and use the shovel,
you will find the ancient cave of ula ula warriors, and now its a cave of skeletons, ghouls, zombies."

the SQM need be a common SQM making something just for those who have read or deciphered the map.

treasure, hunt, miniboss, quests....

making every home a possible place to find a secret book with treasures, hunts, etc.

You basically mean clue scrolls from Runescape. Please add clue scrolls in Zezenia, I would play it to death.

I like very much all these ideas, and it's awesome to know that many peoples like this different things from Old School and pulp adventures, that makes the games much interesting and the world more alive and full of adventures.
