As it has already been a week since the last devlog entry, it is time for our second post. We plan to post a devlog entry at least once per week in the future as well.

As you have surely already noticed, we've done some further tweaking of the website. Apart from adding and fixing some parts of the manual and tweaking pages such as the Download page, we added the background image to the front page to bring some more color. We also fixed a couple of bugs on the website - if you find more, please do not hesitate to report them to us.

Some work has been made on technical features as well. A notification system has been implemented in the client, showing active notifications in the welcome screen. They are loaded from a separate database than the website and the game itself, so should the website be unreachable for example, you can still see updates in the game client itself (see screenshot below). Experimentation has been made with automatic opening of containers (bags, backpacks) upon login, and currently it looks like we can have that feature fully implemented in the next update.

Work regarding the war system and a new house decoration setup have also been started, but they are not nearly finished yet and will be talked about more in a future devlog entry.

A feature that many have asked for is the dedicated channel for NPC dialogue. I, however, don't really like the idea of that as the NPC dialogue in the Main channel is a part of the game. Obviously we must still find a solution to the problem with crowded NPCs. What's going to happen is that there will be multiples of important NPCs. For example, the New Culthan Bank will have 4 bankers (see screenshot below), and Osvald will have helper NPCs. These helper NPCs will affect the same task as the main NPC (Osvald). We will also be adding another task NPC to the new capital city, making it possible to have 2 tasks at once.

If you are going to make it possible to have 2 tasks at once, There should be a chance to get a task for a boss. Maybe make that hard for level 110+ since there is none of that category at the moment.

Very nice, also good to give an incite to what you have been working on over the past week.
I have one question though, will the Everath Patch be implemented with the update or before hand?

We'll be looking to improve the tasks for both very low levels and very high levels.

The staged experience rates will probably have to be added ahead of the actual update, I think we can implement them on Everath this weekend.

Would be nice remove day/night system and keep it just on dungeons , or implement a magic that illuminates quite the map. Since sometimes darkness make the eyes tireds. DirectDraw don't have night/day but it's slow and hard to play.
