People supporting the old systems do not understand the major disadvantages of those systems, for newer people. (And thus for everyone, it is balanced now) For the people who have already been playing a while, (actually, the people who have been here since years) yes, they would be better off with those systems simply because newer people would have almost no way of reaching them.

Proposal: So, just put the training hall to premium peoples, and you'll just need finish a quest to start train there. Cuz it will really help those people who play on PvP server... Like: Give 10 glowing crystals, 30 premium cards and some golems hearts (that aren't being used) |

5th November 2012 14:22:20 Quoting Blackmore: In my opinion, the only solution for training problem is to get Training Hall with Fibbonacis back. When the training hall was running in past I haven't seen tones of whiners on forums - cuz there was nothing to worry about! You got those 2h skills a day and you could run through whole world, hunt explore etc and it was like "Great I gotta training time now, I'll eat something take a rest and my advanture continues". Now it's like "shit... mom will kill me for my bill... PC is running for a month without turning off and I got only 2 skills, where is the pleasure?". I heard that training system got changed because of people who wanted to make skills faster to beat other "veterans" that were training for a year or two, but I think combination of fibbonaci and training time as a task reward is perfect idea. But it's too late - everyone spent half of a year training just to hit with their sword a bit higher. You can't just simply login and train on Fibo's anymore, you can't just login for a few minutes and still get skills in the arena. Retired means retired and that means people who aren't can climb to the top. Opposed to back in the day, where as I have explained above, being retired meant nothing for the simple fact of spending a few seconds to login and get skills, whether AFK at Fibo's, or even worse, 2 minutes in an arena. You can understand that is not really fair. Where you could get easy skills and experience/levels in the past, you can't now, as much - it is harder now. Which is what they intended, as I recall. The longevity of the game has been lenghtened. So be glad. |

So maybe add training hall back where skill grows faster. Then systems would be mixed and people still can train on monks etc after "fibbonaci training" so they can catch up anothers.

Yea, a training hall to skills 80+ because Guianes is almost killing the ghoul with the most noob weapon, so...soon ppl will reach skills 100+, and where the fu** they'll train? |

That would cause great imbalance. The basic things like training should not be changed, it should be fair and equal to everyone, free or premium. Only the extra stuff that doesn't create imbalance could be required to be premium for, such as being enabled a few more spells, more areas. Stuff that doesn't imbalance the game, and doesn't affect the longevity of the game. And really, I've seen this before, but you can't blame the training system not working as it should on the major lack of people in the PvP worlds. It's unfortunate for people on PvP servers that more and more consider non PvP, but that's how it is. You really can't change a whole way of training just because of not having enough people. In the future, that will change but it takes time, and your help, such as helping people on PvP worlds that are being PA'ed or whatever. It is no coincidence the PvP worlds were better populated a while back, now of course it's also a part of being able to transfer, but let's not forget a major part is because of being PA'ed, killed for no reason, all that. |

I did not say it is perfect, but at least you need to make a bit of an effort to get going. And don't forget the whole skill formula change et cetera, even if you skill for so long, it is in no way comparable to the old systems, simply because you deal less damage than you used to, with the same skills. An AFK kicker would be ideal here, but I understand that the uprise of cheat programs is not favoured opposed to letting people skill without a kicker. That's what you need to think about, but at least this system is fair to newer people and lets them have a chance of getting in the top as well. |

A good way that could help them reach the top is making like kurvi said a mix. Putting the fib~ hall and still being able to train outside, but not with the same speed as we gain now training on monks/ghouls, a bit slower, that way they still had the chance of reaching the top. |
