Welcome to another topic about improvements that the game needs. This topic is dedicated to the game staff. I invite
my fellow players to comment and raise their points. I ask only that, even if you disagree, maintain courtesy and politeness.

I have already made some posts with this approach, and other colleagues have as well. All have been ignored by the staff, and many have generated controversies among the players themselves. For this reason, I have decided to take a different approach, pointing out the problems and offering possible
solutions. Many players feel abandoned by the staff, and it is clear that you do not play the game. Therefore, I want to show things that truly deserve a more thorough examination.

The first major problem we have today is the lack of respawns, yes, the same subject. Today, we face great difficulty
in finding respawns for hunting, especially at higher levels and in groups.
We know that this game is practically indie, and the staff is small. Thus, we understand the difficulty in creating new monsters and quests. One possible solution would be to add extra floors to hunts, with a higher concentration of monsters.
For example, an underground floor for lizard spellweavers, templars, soul reapers, volcanic golems, and chenoo. For other monsters, we need more monster density in the caves. For example, common demons, dark knights in dk hc, lone eyes on stairs -1 In the perileu respawn, there could be 3 or 4 lone eyes instead of just 2. Hellish archangels, yeti in the cave, crystal dragons in the old deep cave. I would also add lone eyes to sand terror's hc.
Other monsters need a loot buff to become viable hunting options, such as templar priests and knights, hellish gladiators and angels, lizard guards and warriors, higher-ranking orcs, shadow elves. To be honest, I would love to see orcs and elvens taking place in mid level huntings as orknie's does
Lastly, we could have some new hardcore portals. I would very much like to see a hellish-themed one. I believe the experience would be interesting, and the magus would help balance the loot and profit, while the archangel would assist with experience. We would also like to see an hc of gecks and lizards, while the gecks would guarantee a good experience, the spellweavers would help with the loot. Ice mobs - there are many high-level creatures in the ice city.
It would be really cool to have a hardcore mode, with the inclusion of some grags to help with the bestiary and the loot of rare items.

The second major issue we currently have is the game's market. It has never been very active due to having a small community.
However, the recent updates have practically killed the market. Firstly, because the collectibles are now useless, and then due to rare items coming in common tiers. Let's break it down. I believe that regarding tiers, it would be easier to solve. Items dropped from bosses and quests should have a higher chance of being epic or legendary than other items, precisely because we have fewer chances of obtaining them. Alternatively, we should have some fixed way of upgrading their tiers. A great idea would be to introduce a "demonic matters" rate, as they have little use at the moment.

Well, and finally, let's talk about the collectibles. Since we had changes in the training system, the collectibles have lost their value, which is a shame because many hunts relied on them for their financial sustainability. I would really like to see access quests and outfits that require collectibles. However, a solution that would solve many problems would be to use collectibles as substitutes for plants when creating potions. Not to replace the currently system, but to introduce an alternative. For example, a magic resistance potion requires 5 of each: fourleaf, sugarbeet, and desert flower. We could have the alternative to use 5 collectibles of each: mighty werebear paw, mighty magician paw, and belt. This alternative would solve the problem of plant scarcity and the usefulness of collectibles. Another alternative would be to allow us to choose the task we want to take, I anticipate that some people might consider this abusive, and I understand that initially it might be. But understand that the abuse would only last until the absurd stock runs out, and on new servers, this wouldn't even become an issue. A great example of this is the game Kakele. In addition to collectibles, I would really like to be able ask for the kill task I want, to go on a hunt with 2 tasks for the monster I want to hunt, and not get random tasks for monsters that aren't fun to hunt.

Thirdly, another "problem" we have is boss hunts; nowadays, they have become entirely pointless. Most bosses do not offer any valuable items in the game. I would like to suggest a change in the boss system, as the waiting time for their reappearance is high, the experience while staying in these areas is very low, and the financial reward at the moment
is practically nonexistent. For this issue, I have 2 suggestions. The first would be to add bosses to all dungeons; some already have them in their bonus dungeons, but I would like to see bosses in all dungeons. This would make both the dungeon itself more interesting and the bosses more sought after.
Another suggestion would be to balance the hunt around the boss, the only currently boss that has an acceptable hunting ground around him is wanu, and even so its not the best, the other bosses altough they are around they kin, most of them does not match the strenght needed to hunt the boss, thus making it boring to hunt around it, so fixing it is pretty much needed, so that people can have fun while waiting for the boss to respawn. The simplest alternative would be to set a cooldown of 5-7 minutes for the bosses. However, as it stands, the situation is bad either way.

The fourth thing on my list is bestiary, its been around for almost 2 years and still useless and unblanced, some creatures that we can't hunt, or event creatures demands 1k kills to master, wich is almost impossible. But thats not the only issue, right now having or not the creature masterized, dosen't matter, there is no benefit and I know you guys dont't wanna copy other games with rune system, but we could at least get better bonus % or discount when we master the creatures and fix the kill number needed to master different creatures.

The last thing that is broken is the pvp death loss, in special for lower levels, in pharos at least. One of the things that scare people away from zezenia, is being hunted below lv 100, and this happens quite a lot, there are always pk squads that has few people on lv 200sh that hunts down people below lv 100. My suggestion is to make eidos full non pvp, at least in pharos, and lower death penalty from people 200- if they are killed by people with higher level than them.


Once again I invite my fellow players to share their toughts. If you want to adress another in game issue, try to keep the format, tell us the issue and how you would solve it. Or if you have different ideias to solve the issues I name, also feel free to tell us.
I also hope staff can pay atettion to this, the game really need implements asap, if you look up the most desired weekend events are double exp for obvious reasons, but double task reward so we can get ride of collects, double gathering plants, so we can get potions without spending huge amouth of time gathering and fast spawn (this is particulary my fav one) so we can hunt respaws that we usually can't in special in parties

Good points! I share your thoughts especially about bad respawns, monsters collectibles and bosses (rare items tiers and time to respawn).

A lot can be done to improve the game, at the moment we don't want the most difficult ones, we just want to make life easier for those who play and avoid future problems.

2 things that I forgot to add to this list.

Right now, PVE drunk status is currently broken in the game, we totally lose the control of our characters and nothing can be done except throwing barrels around us, even if we stand still, our characters move without our will. I know its a debuff status and part of the game but it should have a counter play, like a anti paralyze potion or antidote.

Another thing is, the base status of some itens, for exemple golden milanese barbute, and the set from geltharian scout, death knight, vanguard and inquisitor series and a few other itens that used to give skills, they don't anymore, most of them are mid level sets that would work perfectly. this should be fixed, since new players can't even get the original status from those itens, only the ones that are legancy remains with those status. At least the legendary version should work as currently bosses itens randons + original status, because right now, we can't even get those itens anymore. I looted a legendary scout legs, that has +6 magic resist and +4 dodge but no distance and it can only wield by rangers, this should either have distance on it or the class requeriment be removed.

A few months ago I suggested that finally *ALL* items should have kept their basic stats in addition to new dynamic stats (no risk after all, we all became really stronger anyway...). It would solve many things : regaining interest in market, no stupid items (like ring of precision ML+1 without precision xd), less useless items, no items with lvl 150 requirement and awful stats in the same time, no stupidly high prices on market for legacy items, and last but not least, no need to change wiki :D

That suggestion is now lost in the long list of never answered ones ...

To summarize, I agree with you but alas I don't expect anything will be done !

After all these threads, after all these promises of it getting better, after all this time of them showing they do not care in the slightest you still think making yet another thread on the exact same problems that have plagued the game for years will make any difference whatsoever is mad.

I agree with everything that was said in this topic, zezenia has an absurd potential if you listen to the biggest problems in the community.

Adding the idea of ​​bosses, they could tier the items, causing the bosses to be killed more frequently, I believe the idea of, for example:

Mythic Beheader = 34.5 attack

Would you rather have the character have no effect when standing still when drunk or just make it less frequent when standing still?
What would be the optimal change for collectable items for now, should we change the sell price at NPC's ?

Im glad to hear that you are working on new content!

About the drunk mechanics, seems to me that its better if we could stand still without any side effect, but if you guys reduce it it would already be a good change.

About the collects, it would help balance the finacial health on some hunts, so I would take it, but it would be a simple way to solve it, as a rpg player I would love to see the collects in a better use.

Good to see someone from the staff around here and see that the game has not been abandoned.

I believe that the subjects mentioned are very important and the fact that the collect is no longer useful for skill, made the way to level skill take a LONG time, even playing daily.


I believe that other suggestions that have been given in other forums would be very good.

like choosing which loot the pet won't get among many others.
