In my opinion is good idea to keep opening fresh new pvp enforced server every lets say 3 months or so same rates as on tartarus and keep it online for about 1 month and then merge it with tartarus. I believe everyone would join such servers every few months to have some fun.

We thought a lot about adding more intense experience stages when we first introduced Tartarus, but I came to the conclusion that it would only benefit the server minimally. Plus when people can experience low-level characters really fast and kill without limits (and even gain experience while doing so), there would be a lot of people just killing others and then quitting, and there'd be very few mid-term and long-term players which are what were looking for. Either way PVP-E isn't a popular server type, not in Zezenia or any other MMORPG, and it will never be.

Regarding the current poll, the speed-rate server would be regular PVP, like Platon. Obviously introducing it would require at least 1 server merge.

So I'm going to assume that would be months in the future if it even happens at all?
Also what about the concerns of people with colossal tasks as it seems the update will be a few months.

And of course the fact you've just slit all rangers throats waiting for them to die out.

Even tho I agree with most stuff, I must say I still disagree at some points... Experience from killing players use to be an unique feature of pvp enforced servers and in my opinion, it tends to stimulate not only those players that only login on weekends to kill whoever is online, but also those players that keep in mind to play on daily basis, planning themselves in the long run of that server. PvP-E server surely are less popular servers than the other types, but it does not mean they cannot/will not be popular. Thinking that they are/will never be popular isn't necessarily right in my opinion and I'll say why I think so:

[Sorry for speaking of another game, but it's the best way I can use as example]
I say that because I've followed up the status quo of Dolera/Inferna on Tibia since August 2007 until August 2013. The PVP-E servers from that game used to have 1 second delay to attack with runes; you used to gain experience from higher level kills; there was no level req to use runes, just ML req, so lvl 10s used to go outside shooting sds and such and I still remember of such PG players, such as "Vincent'Dra", for example; there were frequent wars of high levels - where some of them used to die 1~3x, lose like 7 levels and camp hunting spawns even if for hours and hours to get it back - and frequent battles in between low levels at the time and from these years, what I've seen is a complete downfall of Tibia, where bots took over and ruined the gameplay. I see people from Dolera asking in other Forum Boards for newcommers to play there because it's dead server XD (they removed exp from killing players since 2009 or 2010 and a lot of players quit because of it and new death penalty system - ToF/Fair Fight Rules).
You can see this video to understand what I am talking about, big wars happening and players gaining experience from PK.

I could explain my opinion way deeper, but I know Tibia is another game, even tho with similar graphics, with a completely different approach and gameplay and I am not here to make a propaganda of it, even because I do not like it anymore, I quit Tibia from those pvp-e servers (abandoned my chars, stuff, team, "friends" there) just to play Tartarus 1 week after it got launched and here I am since then. The point is, I think Experience from Kills on Tartarus - even if only working at level 50+ to prevent excessive random pking on low levels would only benefit the server.
Why? Because right now some key player just PG and then voila, he is a Kill Machine. Whatever low level that he does not like will die a lot, anytime by him. And low levels will die, for sure, but they don't have anything special that stimulates them to fight back or to level up, like the experience from killing players, since they got low chances to kill their enemy the way it is and also nothing special other than the revenge feeling and other stuff that can make him get will to level up a lot.

Experience from killing players can be healthy if well thought, with a good formula that would not give too much exp and would only reward lower level players than their target's level (High lvls cannot gain exp from low lvl kills). Also, maybe making it work since level 50~60+ would prevent low levels to be massively pked by other low levels and it would work like a bounty hunter for high levels, if they died, lower levels would get experience from it as reward for the hard work.

Anyways, I am really, really thankful for your reply about this matter, K-Z, and I'm not expecting you to answer again about it, but if you could read what I've wrote above or maybe even want to discuss further about that, I'm open for it! Hopefully you can read it and think again, sleep over it or whatever.
