Polish tutorial


Included in this post is an entire walk-through of the Sakanrel quest-line. If you do not wish to have this spoiled, please do not continue reading, thanks.

~Sense Offender

Important notes before starting:
-In order to leave Sakanrel you must be either level 6, otherwise you can leave at level 5 if you have premium time.
-You must complete the quests exactly as shown, some people have had issues with doing it other ways (This way works for sure, although since last patch it is no longer required to do them to leave!)
-There are no fishing rods in Sakanrel, eggs are 1gp each. Stock up on eggs before hunts and buy a LOT before you leave sakanrel.
-You will spend an hour in creeps if not more gathering money, it sucks... we know. (winter update made this a lot easier, perhaps not needed at all anymore)
-Buy the BEST equipment set the shops in town offer as quickly as you can afford to.

Visit Abraham and ask him for a mission. (1)

Abraham:You seem to be new to town, I'll take the freedom of assisting you in your first steps! First, go to the tavern and greet Austin, then come back, it's the first building to the left.

Continue to Austin in 'The Aust Inn' also known as the tavern, just southwest of the temple. (2)
Player:Hi
Austin: Good day, mate! What do you want to order?
Player:Greet
Austin:Hello, newcomer! I see Abraham has been taking care of you, what a nice person he is. Return to him and greet him back from me.

Return to Abraham in the temple and greet him for Austin (1)
Player:Hi

Abraham:Nice, I see you have solved the task, congratulations! Here, have this in return.
Abraham:Your next task will be to deposit the money I just gave you at the bank. Just turn left at the crossroad and keep walking, then talk to Emma and say 'deposit 10', then return and ask me for another task.

Head to the bank and deposit your gift from Abraham (9)
Player:Hi
Emma:Good-d day, h-how are you?
Player:Deposit 10
Emma:The money has been added to your balance.

Return to Abraham for another task(1)

Abraham:Greetings! Whatever you need, don't be afraid to ask.
Player:Task
Abraham:Great, you have successfully deposited your money, your next task will be to withdraw it again and then visit George, the butcher, and buy two pieces of meat from him by asking him for a trade. The butcher is in the same building as the fletcher, the one south of the armory. I'm hungry, hurry up and bring me the meat


Head to the bank and withdraw your ten gold (9)
then head south till you see the butcher/fletcher shop on your east/right side and buy 2 pieces of meat from the butcher.(5)

Now return to Abraham(1)

Abraham:Hehe, these taste delicious, can't wait to take a huge bit in there! just kidding, son, they are of course yours, you will need them sooner or later.
Abraham:By the way, I still owe a favor to Dorothy, she helped me out not too long ago, maybe it's time to pay it back, which will be your next task! Take this gold, buy a beer from the Aust Inn and surprise Dorothy with it, she's the jeweller. Keep the change for yourself.

Head to the tavern and buy a beer. (2)

Take the beer to Dorothy at the jewelers shop. (7)

Dorothy:Hello, be greeted, Tutorial!
Player:Beer
Dorothy:That's just too kind of Abraham, I really appreciate it, but you know what I'd appreciate even more? if you brang the beer to my husband Leonard. He's to be found one building north of here. Thank you in advance, and tell Abraham I am delighted.

Head north one shop to Leonard and give him the beer. (6)

Leonard:Good day, tutorial! Needing a weapon?
Player:beer
Leonard:Some beer for me? Sounds outstanding, thanks a lot.

Return to Abraham and inform him of your accomplishments (1)

Player:task
Abraham:Again, you have succeeded. By now, you should have seen all town inhabitants except for the two guards and the archduke himself. You might want to go and see reginald, but you have to gain the trust of the population first, otherwise they won't allow you in. Our business is over now, take this gold and be prepared enough, son. Farewell, and if you're wounded, don't feel too proud to ask me for help.

You have completed Abraham's tasks but still have to gain the trust of the population, to do this you must complete three tasks. These tasks include 'Meat quest','Necklace quest','shield quest' they can be completed in whatever order you choose best.


Shield quest
Go to the tavern to talk to Albert about a quest(9)
Player:Hi
Albert:Greetings, tutorial!
Player:quest
Albert: Yes, there is indeed something that you could do for me. I gave my damaged wooden shield to Andrew who told me he will repair it but still doesn't seem to be done. Could you get it for me? I badly need it for training!
Now head to Andrew and ask him about the shield.(4)
Player:Hi
Player:Shield
Andrew:I know I know, I am sorry for the delay, the shield is almost done, I could finish it in less than five minutes, but you know, I feel so hungry and I just cannot work while being hungry. Would you be so kind as to get me some delicious cheese? In case you haven't got any, Austin sells them cheap.
Now head to the tavern and buy one piece of cheese(2), then return to Andrew(4)
Player:Hi
Player:Cheese
Andrew:Thanks a lot! I knew you were a nice person, that's why I have already fixed the shield for you in advance despite being hungry, here you are, and also take these three gold coins you wasted for me.

Make sure you return the shield to albert before you leave sakanrel, or you will not be able to approach the Archduke.


Meat quest
Go to the butcher's shop. (5)
Player:Hi
George:Welcome, Tutorial!
Player:Quest
George:I have something to do for you. Quite recently, fewer and fewer people have been buying my meat, which made me a bit sad. I think they just forgot how cheap and great it actually is, so I need somebody to go around town to hand out some tasters to remind them all of my quality. Here, take this meat and the list so you know where to bring them, everybody is supposed to get one.

Now you must visit each person in town in the order listed on your scroll.

On the map this would be 8,5,2,7,6,4,9.

Return to George and tell him of your accomplishments. (5)
Player:Hi
George:Welcome, Tutorial!
Player:Quest
George:This is just great, thanks a lot, I am sure my business will become better now. Here, have this as a reward.

Necklace Quest
Go to Emma, the banker, and ask her for a quest.(9)
Player:Hi
Player:Quest
Emma:Indeed I am having a problem, but I think it's too much to ask...while ago, my necklace was stolen... it's actually not of much value, but since is the thing I remember most about my parents, it is a true heirloom and means much to me. If I remember right, it was gone immediately after this viscous goblin was seen around town, in case that helps you...

Now you must find Emma's missing necklace, to do so you should head to the depot. In the center of the depot are a set of stairs leading to a door. Head east out that door and then follow this path.

When you reach the tower there are goblins.. 2 on the first floor , 1 on the center floor, and 2 on the top floor with the chest, so bring potions and be careful.

Player: heirloom
Emma: This is too good to be true, thank you soooo much, you're a lovely person, Guan Yu, have this in exchange.

Continue to the archduke(10) in order to leave Sakanrel and speak to him as follows.

Archduke Reginald II:Confirm if you are ready to leave Sakanrel forever!

A side quest as depicted by Almighty Kratos

Requirements: 5 pieces of cheese and a mug of beer
Location: ANYWHERE east of the mountain!!

[16:46:52] Kodruf: Hello Player, what do you want?

[16:46:55] Kodruf: (missing dialog, but he says something with bring me 5 pieces of cheese and a beer)

[16:46:54] Kodruf: Thanks, right now, I have no reward for you, but in a few weeks, I will have something for you, trust me. Just ask me for a reward then.

You'll get some experience points, but the real reward is yet to be revealed. How long you need to wait for the reward I have no clue.

You could add that if you fail to do a quest in the right order, you have to start doing it again in the correct order. For instance, if you bought two meat before withdrawing 10gp, you have to buy the meat again.

I've spotted an error in Alberts part of your walkthough.
Yesterday I helped a player who had read this guide and claimed he had done all the quests but he had not delivered the shield back to Albert. I was curious so I checked what you said here and I see now that you have missed/skipped the last task of that quest.

When you have gone to Andrew to get the shield you have to walk back to Albert and say "shield". This is not included in the guide above.
Anyway, it is a minor issue but one that can cause trubble.

It has also come to my attention that you have neglected to add what to do with the Heirloom once you pick it up. This is a slightly bigger issue as you can easily loose it if you die, and you can not pick it up again from the chest.

Edit: I would also advise to start with Georges meat quest as you get 8 meats but only deliver 7, you then have 2 meats for free (including the one you start with) and therefor do not need to buy any meat at all for Abrahams quest only go and say "trade" to George.

Edit 2: There have been further developments in the quest research. You also do not need to have money in the bank when Abraham sends you to withdraw 10, I have not checked personally but I suspect the same applies when you deposit the money.
