The reward is experience points.

Here's a quest you could add since it is quite simple:

Requirements: 5 pieces of cheese and a mug of beer
Location: ANYWHERE east of the mountain!!

[16:46:52] Kodruf: Hello Player, what do you want?
[16:46:54] Player: quest/mission/task
[16:46:55] Kodruf: (missing dialog, but he says something with bring me 5 pieces of cheese and a beer)
[16:46:54] Player: cheese/beer
[16:46:54] Kodruf: Thanks, right now, I have no reward for you, but in a few weeks, I will have something for you, trust me. Just ask me for a reward then.

You'll get some experience points, but the real reward is yet to be revealed. How long you need to wait for the reward I have no clue.

He will respond to the names Reginald and Dustin, thought you can not yet fight them. I would suspect that it is a feature that will be completed in a future patch.

Anyone know how get the reward from Kodruf?

You get the reward when you give him what he asks for, namely 30 or so EXP, though the reward he promises to give you in a week or so does not exist.
