It’s been a quiet time lately for you, and after having implemented a new feature a while ago; the football arena, why not host a football event?

We invite you all to play in our football tournament, and who knows we see who the Messi’s or C.Ronaldo’s are among us!

Participating:

You can participate by signing up in this thread. You can of course sign up as a team (a team consists out of 3 people), but also individually, you then will be set up with other people that joined individually, at a later stage. Do understand that if there aren't enough individuals that signed up, you unfortunately can't participate. You can sign up until the 10th of November.

The match duration is 5 minutes. Each win gives you 3 points; a draw will give you 1 point and a loss obviously nothing. We do not play in a group stage or knock-out system. Failing to show up with your whole(!) team results in a 3-0 win for the other team(s). If anyone in your team tries to spoil the event, your whole team(!) will be disqualified and will result in a 3-0 win for all the other teams. Additionally, you may be banished. You will play against each team once, and the teams that end first, second and third will receive, each person in it, their respective prizes.

Prizes:

1st place: 200000 gold, 20 towels, 15 pieces of ginger bread, 15 premium cards + a unique item
2nd place: 150000 gold, 15 towels, 15 pieces of ginger bread, 10 premium cards
3rd place: 100000 gold, 10 towels, 10 ginger bread men, 5 premium cards

Each person in the team will receive the respective prizes if of course placing first, second or third, equally ranked teams included.

Due to lack of participants on Elysium and Platon, I actually instead wanted to host a warzone event, however, various implications regarding this event such as the event not being fair and balanced, made me decide to postpone this. It will be hosted on all the servers, at a date yet to be announced. My apologies for this decision that I have to make, after all, I rather have a fair and balanced warzone event than an unbalanced and not fair one, just for the sake of hosting it.

As for the football event on Tipitaka, we have 6 teams that will compete with each other. The event will start according to the time mentioned above. I will see you all there.

Something instead of nothing might have seemed better but if you take into account that for a lot of people the warzone event isn't balanced, thus not being fair, you reconsider your choice and have to, regretfully though, cancel it. I want a warzone event that is fair as much as that will be possible, for everyone, plus, I want people to be able to have a little more time than a day before an event commences. Again, my apology for this decision.
