For the next patch, I've decided to make the experience and gold system way less complex in order to avoid having messed up values. I will even tell you how so you can calculate for yourself how much a quest would give you.

The experience value is now calculated like this:

First of all, you multiply the amount of monsters with the experience the monster gives. COUNT * EXP

Then, it will get multiplied depending on how hard the quest was. (0.20 for easy, 0.25 for medium, 0.35 for hard). COUNT * EXP * 0.20/0.25/0.35

After this, if the quest was random, it is multiplied by 1.25. COUNT * EXP * 0.20/0.25/0.35 * 1.25

If you choose the gold value, you divide the experience you'd get by 2.


I might add changes to this, however, only minor ones, as this seems to be a very comfortable solution.

You're best bet is the short/medium lenghths. As far as difficulty I'd suggest specifically only doing short tasks when going with a Hard task.
