A few days ago down at the Cauldron I'd heard that the rogue wizard guild were capable of forging Katanas which I could, supposedly, in turn have reforged into a Pirate Sword. However the knowledge must be a closely guarded secret as all I found was this curious looking armor.
![]() Later took the boat over to Ben Qarassih to sell some scrap loot to Yasin and then go looking for some lions. I'd gotten directions from Yasin and proceded to climb over the southern mountain when I was assaulted by a band of golems, one of whom was carrying a rather beautiful looking armor.

Still in Ben Qarassih, as the next boat to Caerfa won't be here for a few more days. I tried to buy some maps of this place from Yasin but he claims he doesn't trade in maps, though I suspect he just wants more gold than I was offering. As Yasin wasn't helping, I had to chart the place myself.
![]() I managed to make a fairly accurate map of the lion fields and I even explored parts of the Al Qubesan hills but as I made my way back to town I was once more set upon by angry golems, in the very same spot as last time! |

Exploring Ben Qarassih is all well and good, but afore too long you do start longing for home. Fortunately the boat has finally arrived and I am headed for Humwich again! With my newfound chartography skills I hope to complete mapping the Hills of Humwich, as there are quite a lot of hostile creatures living up there I had best bring some extra supplies.
![]() I managed to explore near enough all of it, however with darkness fast approaching I had to turn back before I reached the top.

30th October 2011 19:15:40 Quoting Hyuga: What a spectacular fight this was :D Shenlo's cartography skills and knowledge of the outlying areas and their names certainly would make him an excellent candidate for the role of Sage... Not to mention his love of helping others. Perhaps the powers that be would bless him with the sacred orange speech... |

As the golems and werebears up in the Hills are proving no match for my shamanic powers I decided to go see how well I'd fare against the whooly mammoth. While I've faught them before I was always guided by someone from the Holy Order, so admitedly I was more than a little nervous.
I was not too sure about how to get there but I did remember that we had faught ents on the way there so the Forests of Jovsrettok seemed as good a place as any to start searching. ![]() I was able to sneak through the forest without too much turble and soon enough I came upon the first mammoth. One was easy enough, but as it fell it called out to the rest of the herd. After a wild chase through the forest I'd finally killed the last of them, one had caught me with its tusks and nearly knocked me clean out but other than that I was more or less unharmed. ![]() While sneaking through Sinplatrak on my way back to Caerfa I noticed an orc wizard sporting a pair of furry boots, a bit of stealth and an energy blast through the back of his head and they was mine!
