They're using barrels to slow down enemy players, and no matter who it is, they'll have to drag the barrels out of the way. Any change to make barrels disappear automatically (except inside cities) would be a strange intervention by the staff. It's incredible how there's a new thing to complain about on this forum every single day  .

I really liked of this strategy of barrels and i dont think staff should changes it!
when i came back to play aegis i was dissapointed when i tried to do some pvp strategys and it no long exists, like: - Barrel stack trap on holes / stairs (it was already bad if compared to old traps, when we stacked random items to disapear the stair and barrels) - Killing yourself on makers for ban people who cast area spells on citys (players were abusing of a bunny event on ellaria and i cant tried to ban then? waht a shame  )This things balance pvp, give more options than only open area wars. One of the best parts of the game were kill lvl 300 players with a group of 5 lvl 60, lol |

Barrels where never ment to block whole cities or the whole map...
Lets look at the rule written by the staff Destructive behaviour, including abuse of bugs or game weakness to cause harm to other players or limiting their access to gameplay is forbidden. (Results in a warning or variable length ban at GM discretion.) Tell me how barreling the whole city or a spawn doesn't limit access to gameplay... or blocking dungeons for those trying to complete dungeons for rewards? The use of multiple clients at once to gain an advantage is forbidden. (results in a warning or variable length ban at GM discretion.) There is some people using 5-7 clients to block these things.. Modifying the client software in any way, or using third-party software or hardware to gain an advantage over other players is forbidden. In addition, a Game Master, to remove his doubts, may appear and start a short and logical conversation, watch your actions and movements while hidden, or utilize an automatic bot verification process. (Advanced bots result in ban until deletion, otherwise a major ban at GM discretion.) how about Jinx OP cavebotting (or changing his name to take some heat off). you're mad that we can make some EXP in dungeons that you're going to these extremes to break the rules... is it becasue you know staff is MIA... do you want Pharos to die? what is it bro because you just say we are crying but we just want fair playing and its clear to me that people of your caliber can't play by the rules or play fair.. we could have alot of fun and enjoy the game fighting eachother but you pick cheating and bug abusing instead. The truth is, Brazilian players have a HUGE lag disadvantage compared to everyone else. The server is probably in Europe, and the backbone from South America to Europe has to go through the US first. That's the real problem.
For any Latin American country south of Mexico, your connection has to go north first, then all the way over to Europe. Your ping ends up being way higher. I've played Zezenia from Brazil – I know exactly how extreme that lag gets. Now playing from the USA, I can see the HUGE DIFFERENCE that speed makes in this game. The barrel is literally the only thing that slows down players who already have an innate advantage. And now they're crying to remove it because they can't just flash onto their screen from a protection zone to another. Without any harm or danger. The simple solution? Remove the no-PvP area entirely. If they want to run dungeons, make them go from the boat and fight their way there. I promise you, every single problem with the barrel disappears overnight. It's completely unfair to trap people who are literally flashing on your screen from inside a safe zone?. That's the truth of it. They have a massive advantage over any other player, and taking away the barrel—the only thing that can actually slow them down—would be a huge loss for a PvP world. These babies are crying their eyes out because their ping is like 20–50ms, while the Brazilian team plays on 120–150ms constantly. A level 1800 can't even catch a level 800 with good ping, because map-click movement isn't the same as WASD. You can't control your character the same way. And let's not forget—they already got a huge help transferring with zero penalties from another world. They cried, and they got no-PvP zones all around the hunting areas. Now they're crying again to remove the only way to trap them: body blocks and barrel blocks. These kids are completely out of control. If you actually remove the barrel or put some stupid timer on it, you might as well just hand the whole game over to them at this point. This shit is insane. Let's not forget that the barrel strategy we did involved the whole team. Everyone on our side was putting out barrels. They never got together on their makers and actually tried to take the barrels out. They just come here and cry without even trying to pick them up off the floor or push them anywhere. They're like babies. Our team actually got together to set up the barrels on the zones where you can free exp in no-PvP, and they can't even be bothered to log into their own makers and try to remove them. Their first solution? Come here and beg for rule changes. That's how you see how spoiled they really are. Why would I even try if I can just cry and get my way?
