Quoting Markzman:
There's also the option of improving subclass balance by introducing new rewards for challenge points from tasks.

I believe that adding augments for specific spells as imbues on the new items would not only encourage players to pursue these new high-level items, but also help improve subclasses that are in greater need of additional damage output, such as Warlocks and Barbarians.

For years, the 4,000 challenge points rewards have remained the same. The only exception was the Demon Slayer reward, which was introduced in 2023. Since then, there have been no new milestones or incentives for players who continue collecting challenge points.

It's reasonable to say that long-term players need new goals to pursue. New Challenge Points rewards would provide fresh motivation, encourage continued gameplay, and make completing challenges feel rewarding again.

Therefore, I suggest introducing new reward tiers for 5,000 and 8,000 Challenge Points. Each subclass should receive at least two new exclusive items across these milestones, giving players meaningful reasons to keep progressing.

Adding these rewards would benefit both veteran players and the overall longevity of the challenge points system, creating new long-term objectives and making the effort invested in challenges feel worthwhile.

I also think the idea of subclass-specific rewards is particularly valuable.
Instead of simply increasing raw stats, rewards that provide unique spell augments or imbues could help close the gap between subclasses in a more interesting and controlled way.
This approach rewards dedication without creating mandatory progression for casual players.
Those who invest the time to complete thousands of challenges receive meaningful prestige and utility, while the overall balance of the game can be improved through targeted subclass enhancements rather than broad numerical buffs...

There are so many beautiful sprites for the game. It's a shame they're being ignored.

Amazing sprites!
The devs should listen to the players and implement more of their ideas.
It could literally save the game, not just improve it.

Shockwave deals damage in a 7 sqm area. It could be reworked, just like marksman Arrow Volley, into a targeted spell.

Arrow Volley used to be a 5 sqm cross shaped spell, now it deals damage to the target and 4 nearby monsters.

Shockwave could get a similar rework, dealing 100% damage only to a target in any of the 8 adjacent sqm around the Barbarian and 75% of damage to up to 6 nearby monsters from that target.

In Pvp, just like Arrow Volley, it could only damage the targeted player.

Based.. a small xp buff that'd also help barbs when they're luring many mobs, cus their hp drops very fast since the class depends on lifesteal and shockwave size is terrible ..

ye arrow volley is a chain spell and changed completely the marksmen' gameplay; so this kind of spell sounds good for underwhelming subclasses as warlock and barbarian but warlock should gain access to a new 4 or 5s aoe dmg spell; while making shockwave a chain spell is fine for barbarian

Should happen to warlock a instant spell like arrow volley hitting 5 creatures, maybe like life drain (with this kind of mechanic in warlock). Only one change and the class become enjoyable

Regarding subclass balance, this is the easiest aspect to change and that's enough for both barb and wl.

A new areal spell centered on target for wl certainly bring them back to game, what makes wl boring is the absence of this type of spell

Barb shockwave tiles number and damage stats are quite well, the issue solely remains on its range.
Then if shockwave hits monsters surrounding the target it can fix the subclass.

We got a problem easy to solve, put corss on the target, and another one spell like life drain work like arrw volley.

But, the problem is about pvp if cross hit on target... but... just reduce that spell in pvp (like -90% damage on pvp or somehthing like that).
