My idea even before these seasonals (I hate seasonals) they should take Tibias solution by making a new permanent 2x server then merge later down the line. This way people wouldn't feel jipped by it (even though they reaped the benefits of one already).
The host location is a pointless topic for the amount of players playing, currently anyone outside of USA has around the same ping (of the current population) some might have higher some lower depending, but the reason USA was chosen was due to the central nature as it is impossible for everyone to have the same ping to the server. Lets say for example they say OK lets make a BR server or one within that region, then not only would they have a BR, USA server then us people from EU would want one so for a population of 70 (total max) players they would need 1x BR non-pvp, 1x USA non-pvp, 1x EU non-pvp, 1x BR PVP, 1x USA PVP and 1x EU PVP. With the current player base not only would that be totally stupid for him to do so it would totally ruin and divide the small player base. |

But unfortunately, you don’t respect the time of those who dedicated themselves to Pharos and instead want an easy EXP factory. The staff needs to act intelligently in this case. If every PvP server that dies has to turn into these easy EXP factories, it will discourage people from playing outside of war seasons and maybe even from coming back to the game. Also, when a PvP server dies, players are transferred to a new PvP server or to Elysium; so there go even more inflated levels to Elysium for minimal effort. Thanks. You need to think of the transfer from titan to pharos and the huge advantage given to you guys but you want us to suffer. So, both sides can be benefits It’s a good idea but without 3 months before open transfers there is no point to fight lvl 500-800 vs 900-1800. We did some tests in test server and level 1800 headshots anyone level 950 and lower . That is the whole reason of this thread and for extension . But you guys think it’s unfair for extension that’s why we tried to be reasonable and say 3 month aegis at 2x that way you guys can keep grinding and so can we to have a nice fight . Even after 3 months you guys will have a huge level advantage . Also we don’t mind 1 server being South America, we will transfer snd fight you guys no problem . We just don’t have the levels to fight 2 lvl 1800 . Thanks |
