The Pharos market is practically dead.

I don't know what the right solution would be, but it's the first time I've seen it so abandoned and without items.

Does anyone have any ideas to improve it? We could discuss this...

If a new player enters today, they can't buy anything

I think it's more of a side effect of the player base. Currently there are 26 on Elysium and 9 on Pharos at semi peak times. The only thing that fixes that is a larger playerbase.

Yeah its pretty dead, thats for sure, and the prices are mostly based on the eceonomy of us who plays daily on pharos. and make 20kk+ per hunt.

Overpriced stuff, and almost 0 "Newbie" items... Im a part of the problem aswell, i cant deny that...
For me its just annoying putting items up that i think "noone needs" and its easier just throwing them in my loot bags and sell it to npc... Laaazyness. lol

But.... I think its good that you made the post.
Helping out in the beginning is important to newcomers, making them stay till 150+ are hard!
And i will from now on try to make more offers on items that can be used for newcomers, i keep some bags with legendary stuff just to beeing able to help if someone new asks for some gear.

When i started, i remember picking sugar beets and selling them so i could by my Legendary northstar for 8kk, that was a damn grind...

Maybe if we get some more people spend 2 minutes now and then to put stuff up on market.
That would make it a bit more fun, and attractive to newcomers aswell =]

Yep, worst side effect from the small player base imo.
The prices aint very fun on elysium either if you ask me, also a messed up market made for high tier players with high income.

If people took their time and put stuff up on market to help others and just not for personal profit, that would do an insane diffrence i think. Tons of more items would pop up, pushing the prices down.
Im pretty sure people sits on insane ammount of stuff.
This would take more than 1-2 people to do this, cuz someone would buy the cheap item to make a profit and sit on it and sell later on for the double. Its a pretty complex problem

To make some personal profit over an item in zezenia we aint talking about 1-5 kk´s.... You wont even notice that on the bank balance when you sell them.

A start is if people can just be a lill´ helpful and put the cheap stuff out, that doesnt matter for You, but for newbies, the 0-50 and 50-150 stuffs.

I think that every player who is currently in Pharos should open the market by placing items at an affordable price for new players. Any item that is nothing to us and that we can very well sell in the store, for a new player is a valuable item to continue their game. If everyone contributes their grain of sand, we can support the server one way or another.

Offering high-end or mid-range items at lower prices helps the market, especially for new players. Obviously, I'm not referring to top-tier items like ZZ Legs or superior items, but I mean items like Great Glory, Vanguard Sets, etc. These items can be sold at an accessible or moderate price. However, while the server is currently in season mode, it's very difficult to establish a market on Pharos

Ohyeah for sure! I will try tp keep that in mind from now on and take some time to actually put some items up on the market more frequently.
