Hello everyone,
In Zezenia, most monsters move toward the player to deal physical damage. This behavior makes it possible to lure and group multiple creatures, allowing players to maximize AoE damage and increase experience per hour. Boulder Throwers, however, don’t fit well into this pattern. Their combat style prevents effective luring, making them less appealing than other creatures that offer similar experience. With the introduction of new ranged-oriented monsters like Vanguard Ranger and Orc Sharpshooter, there is an opportunity to emphasize a different hunting style. These new monsters could be designed to attack exclusively from a distance and intended specifically for 1-on-1 hunting, creating a clearer distinction between group-luring creatures and single-target ranged creatures. Boulder Throwers could follow a similar design shift. Instead of running away at low health, they could alternate between melee and ranged attacks, similar to Cerberus, giving them a more dynamic identity while still fitting into a single-target hunting style. Increasing their experience reward by kill would make them more appealing for players rangers, shamans, and warlocks who prefer 1-on-1 combat. I am suggesting an artificial increase in the experience of certain monsters to create hunting options that are competitively viable in experience per hour. One approach would be simply increasing the experience granted when the monster is defeated, but in a way that prevents players from grouping them together. For example, the monster could run away from the player. In this case, the hardcore hunting area for Vanguards would need to be redesigned. Another idea — which does not necessarily exclude the first — is introducing a new pillar system. These pillars would be placed throughout the hunting area, either immortal or respawning extremely quickly. A pillar would grant the monster very high magical resistance and increase its experience reward. This increase would be intentionally disproportionate, making the hunt appealing for leveling. However, in this case, warlocks and shamans would not benefit as much. Even so, the focus is ensuring that players cannot hunt by gathering groups of monsters. We need to bring back single-target hunting in this game, so there are alternatives for leveling that do not depend on filling the screen with monsters. Wouldn’t it be interesting to have single-target hunts designed for a ranger + warrior duo, or even warrior solo or ranger solo? In the game’s current state, every class effectively behaves like a mage. In experience-focused hunts, more than 90% of the player’s damage is magical. We end up with marksman mages, rogue mages, barbarian mages, paladin mages, fire mages, purple mages and nature mages — all class functioning like a variation of a spellcaster. In the past, my fellow marksmen and I asked for competitive single-target hunting options so that the class could have a purpose — something it could truly excel at. But due to poor direction, the marksman aberration was created instead: Marksmans level 550 geting 60kk/hour experience solo in the Armadilok hardcore zone. This massive areal damage isn't legitimate, nor was it the kind of identity the class was supposed to have. A healthier approach would be giving marksmen (and other classes) meaningful hunting roles that don’t rely on massive improvments, but on thoughtful design that rewards the class identity. Thanks for considering these suggestions, Vovó da Penha |

Have you tryed pyromancer? Bro... hahahaha probably you dont play this game. In terms of numbers. We can easly with pyro lvl 600, get about 40 lvls in one day of gameplay. Anyone can do it bro. Also, let me explain one thing. Create boss, and put it with high amount of exp and them you can hunt 1-by-1. Only one game did it, and has a low population comparing to anothers one. MEDIVIA. And only ppl from MEDIVIA LIKE THIS STYLE. most of others like to lure full screen with monsters , and you know what... 90% of the players in medivia dont do PvP big guilds, only 5v5...10v10. most of them are char lover, and in this terms of gameplay, why a charlover will need big amount of exp? you can hunt 1 by 1 anywhere bro. |
