The recent opening of Zezenia Online’s test server could have been an excellent opportunity to bring the community closer to the development process and implement improvements truly aligned with the current player experience. However, the decision to grant access mainly to a restricted group of players who, for the most part, are no longer active creates an obvious problem: those testing the game do not represent the reality of the current state of play.
These players, being away and outdated regarding mechanics, current meta, balance, and real community needs, cannot provide representative feedback. As a result, the adjustments and changes based on their opinions tend to be superficial and disconnected from the experience of players who face the game’s challenges daily, progress their characters, and interact with the economy and environment of the real server. Meanwhile, active players—who truly understand the current context, identify problems, and see real opportunities for improvement—are being excluded from the testing process. The impression left is that the administration is wasting an important chance to listen to those who genuinely experience Zezenia today. If the goal of the test server is to refine the game before releasing major changes, it would only make sense to allow players who are actually active to have a voice. Otherwise, the updates will continue to be disconnected from reality and may generate even more dissatisfaction among the true loyal members of the community. |

And after that big update with the marksman rework, they gave us words like: from now on, things will be decided together with the players.... well, which players ? a small closed group of old friends... thats what I see now.
This is a shame. |

This is a shame. Thats zezenia till the birth. Always they do this, ask for fome group of close friends, and that group only play on seasons, also, this same group dont want the game progress, just because they arent the core players now. same group clsed group (check discord and others), that hate some guys, and if you proposal something they first disagree and after that they read the proposal. same closed group that dont care about the game, just wanna bothering their enemys. and veeti following losing much morey. i already said and will repete. a crap/garbage OT server from tibia earn easyl 100k/month. and zezenia is better fun and mechanic would win much more. They just need to listening who trully play the game. |

Zezenia is a hobby project and I'm sure everyone understands that.
The last balancing update was very important, because it revived marksman, paladin and shaman. However, after the most recent season, players have sent a lot of feedback regarding the new subclass rework, especially concerning warlock and barbarian. What I'm trying to say is that I really don't understand the harm in being transparent and managing players expectations. Nobody is demanding that the staff implement changes tomorrow, but communication between the staff and the players is the key in small hobby projects and there's hardly any of it these days. If this is not possible, then perhaps the staff could at least shed some light on why it seems to be favoring a small group of veteran players at the expense of new perspectives from players who are still eager to progress in the game, until they eventually give up due to the lack of content [...] |

There is absolutely no need to restrict server testing to about 5 people, while the rest of the players are prevented from testing it; there's nothing wrong with that. You treat Zezenia as if it were a popular game that needs to hide things from the players.

Who said the problem is hiding to 5 players? Meanwhile, active players—who truly understand the current context, identify problems, and see real opportunities for improvement—are being excluded from the testing process. Who is talking on private test server dosent understand nothing about the game. Some changes they are crying for , especially some kind of close friends is terrible. Its like a absolute idiot crying or change shit things. They know nothing about the game. they are crying for "do the things based on math".... the main thing is the lack of math they have in brain. |

In any game theres private tests before public tests, thats a healthy workflow.
Like league of legends, they have a private testing area for the development, after careful testing they release it in the PBE (public test server) and after those tests it gets released. What exactly is the issue of dev testing it privately before releasing a public test server? |

Like league of legends, they have a private testing area for the development, after careful testing they release it in the PBE (public test server) and after those tests it gets released. What exactly is the issue of dev testing it privately before releasing a public test server? I’m going to assume you didn’t understand the context of the discussion here. The problem is that the staff is relying on 2, 4 or even 8 players who don’t even play Zezenia anymore—players who may have reached level 250 or 500 more than five years, maybe around 10 years ago, and after becoming sages or part of the trusted circle, no longer understand what the game actually needs in order to develop in the long term. Therefore, the ideal scenario would be for the Staff to place their trust in players who are truly active on Elysium and Pharos, from all subclasses, so they can provide suggestions for class changes and for the implementation of new content. However, the ideas that are accepted should be shared publicly with those who were not initially invited to test, and as soon as possible the public test server should be opened for everyone, without exceptions. The last balancing update was extremely important, but there was very little transparency regarding who was providing the ideas that the staff was accepting… because it became evident to most players that a lot of content is being held back due to outdated thinking such as ‘this subclass is only meant for support’ or ‘this subclass must be vastly superior to the others.’ So this has prevented real balancing progress for years... |
