There are things they could do while not effecting PVP at all (rangers with high skills do good damage in PVP), the only option really is to have them do some sort of AOE because if you wanted to increase their single target damage so your exp/h matches that of a pyro you would have to be 2 hitting high level monsters. This is why a test server is a good thing, if Pyros are staying the same you can go through each subclass 1 by 1 and try to get it within at least 20% of a pyro then move to the next etc. Agree... Hellish Volley damage should be raised to reduce that gap with 4s cooldown dealing a huge damage on mobs... Great for a ranger luring even 3 or more monsters to kill at same time... |

Ranger use two hand weapon like barbarian, but hit like paladin who use one hand weapon... (no make sense)...
Upgrate the atack like barbarian atack, that will be fair... All Rpg games rangers are the best on single target, only on zezenia they are not the best on single, and area damage are horrible... SO PLZ STAFF WAKE UP!!!! Now About exp hellish Volley in 2s cooldown i think will help to kill more monster at the same time and that will fix the exp problem, if u double the damage of Hellish Volley Ranger will be to op on pvp... I want to know what u guys think about it sorry by my english |

Could be more than barbarian's weapons but reducing PVP damage to improve atk of distance weapons in a way to not affect PVP. So the spells will hit more in PVE and provide to ranger a decent xp/h. |

From the fact ranger's weapon atk is same of paladins, you deduce rangers hit similar damage compare to paladins. It's not so simple !
It's probably true for rogue, unless I miss something, but not really true for marksmam. Indeed, marksman achieve more critical hits than paladins, moreover thanks to Piercing Shot, ennemies have virtually no armor for marksman ... and it makes a big difference. This difference is raised again when Multistrike comes in the game, because the 50% bonus is calculated *after* armor is deduced. For example : - if a pala hit 600 a mob with 100 armor, he get 500 (normal hit) or 680 (crit.) or 750 (multi) - if a marksman hit 600 a mob with 100 armor, he get 590 / 770 / 885 (assuming ofc Piercing Shot is used). - if a pala hit 600 a mob with 500 armor, he get 100 / 280 / 150 - if a marksman hit 600 a mob with 500 armor, he get 550 / 730 / 775 To be clear, I don't say rangers don't need more dmge, I have no clear idea about that. But you should take all aspects of gameplay into account before claiming ![]() |
