The January Public Test Server is now open! Download the test server client here to log in. The server is based on a snapshot taken earlier today, so all of your recent progress may not be available.
Here's what's new: Balancing Changes - Mages will now gain 6 HP per level, up from 5 HP per level. - Mage healing spell strength has been reduced by roughly 20%. (Strong Healing, Shamanic Healing, Heal Friend) - Most monsters from XP 8k and up have had their melee damage increased by 15-35%. With these and other future changes we hope to create a more balanced hunting and XP experience for AoE vs single target and Melee vs Ranged. It will allow us to make monsters that are more unique and challenging without risking mage one hit deaths. In addition, with increased melee damage potential from monsters, equipment that contains melee based defense will become a more relevant option. - Following feedback on the effects on AoE and single target hunting XP, we will increase monster XP levels accordingly. Demon and Demon Lord XP levels increased. Ongoing Gathering & Brewing Improvements - Herbs continue to be spread out amongst spawns. - All level herbs being added to more spawns. - Gathered amounts increased to compensate for herbs being spread out. - Goblin spawn chance increased for all herbs. Please share your thoughts on brewing window/mechanic improvements. Private NPC Conversations You will also discover a new private NPC chat tab in the game client. Through newfound powers of telepathy, non-player characters may now serve multiple players at a time. Conversations with NPC's are private from any eavesdropping players. In addition, highlighted keywords can now be left clicked to save time typing. Please let us know what you think of the new NPC tab, or if you encounter any issues talking to a certain NPC, using services or solving quests. What is the point of this? Spreading them out and later on make the gathered amounts more. You might aswell kept it the way it was. Only difference now is that it is so annoying to gather for the normal player. Also, why make massive packs of all the other gather herbs and ruin the most needed ones? |

Nothing makes sense, buff characters, buff exp hour due to boosting mechanics, now nerf almost everybody in special the classes that didnt need to be nerfed and buff creatures instead of creating new stronger creatures (mighty magician werebears can disable your mdef pots, now they will deal more melee dmg and remain as the strongest/best creature to hunt in game for another 5 years) |

28th January 2022 16:54:22 2022 sets new plans for the future of Zezenia Online. To kick things off, a new Public Test Server featuring experimental balancing changes and improvements will open soon. Stay tuned for more details! This makes no sense, it massively shows that none of the staff currently play the game, this is madness. Where are the "experimental changes" and "balance changes"? I see none. The issue of Single target vs AOE has not been addressed at all in this test server, not even ONE change on this matter. You've given mages a TINY amount of extra HP which only help in very high burst damage situations but taken away a massive portion of their sustainability. Even if a mage had 100,000 HP if he can only heal 1200 HP per second and a monster is hitting 1300 they will die. You've also just increased the melee damage of ALL monsters above a certain threshold which is crazy to me, this makes hunting high levels monster even LESS appealing when it's already less appealing to do so (due to high noble coin costs, low drops rates etc). This also makes Paladins even MORE OP in PVP when coming for mages/rangers in spawns. Out of all the monsters you choose to increase the XP of Demons and Demon lords, what the hell is going on. Concerning the gathering you created an imaginary problem to then "fix" the problem, I really do not understand where your heads at with these changes, it would be really nice if you could give your reasoning on these changes because I cannot think of any logical reason for them. There is nothing in this test that help SOLO XP or Single target VS AOE at all. You really do know how to set expectations high to then just disappoint. |

I dont see any benefit of this 'balance changes' for me as a shammy. Like whats been said above, the bit extra hp helps a bit for burst dmg , but when ill get stuck ill get raped by the mobs bec of the lower healing and big dmg increase of melee.
Also this test server wont help me anything in solo XP, it will be worse in the higher range mobs. Have to heal more ofthen bec of the lower healing and the healing overtime dont do shit bec it resets when using my healing. Staff give them 100% more dmg and 100% cd reduciton noone take this game serious anymore and noone play it. I can understand you dont give a f about the game its liek 60 people online and for sure half of them is afk i would dont give a shit also :)
