Thanks Baltas. I think the problem is related to the teleport script, and will not be an issue on the live servers.

so i am not black skull, i suicided at 242 now and it says :

I lost more than that cuz 5lvls are 35kk exp. This time it has nothing to do with boss.

It seems like it bugged on some but not all chars. Tried to suicide on another char in the same account and I lost normal exp and recovered normaly.

I lost normal exp and normaly recovered now. So char was just buged for 2 deaths or till u changed something.

Should be fine then, thanks for your help.

The test server is now restarted and the anti-paralyze potion recipe has been adjusted and added back to Nicholas' selling list. Now the potion should work in PVM only, not in PVP. Any feedback relating to this change is welcome.

I would like to consider 2things now:
Life steal:
Max possible eq life steal is 15% (2rings and a wand/hellish crossbow). Okay, it will be probably hard to get these, but its super op. They stack with life steal pot so ppl can have 20% life steal and warlocks can even make dark gathering.

Possible 2 solutions:
Rings can be looted only by a monster which spawns more rarely
set the limit of how much it can heal per second (to avoid pyros hitting 15 monsters and healing full).
Instead of making it life steal rings change it to (increases your atk speed by 10%). <<< It would benefit rangers and warriros mostly, but I don't mind that some voc could use one thing, another could use another

Magic resistance:
Now eq can give 10% magic resistance which is a lot. Didn't have time to calculate how exactly it stacks to buffs (if pyro have 40% buff and adding 10% would mean they have 50% buff, or one buff works first and then another. In that case it would be 46% buff overall {blocking 40% at start and then 10% from remaining damage is another 6% f.e. 100dmg - 40dmg = 60dmg , 60dmg-6dmg = 54dmg ~~ means instead of 100 pyro would receive 54dmg) << thats more like a question to staff than statement.
Also since it work pvp as well, how it stacks with natural magic resistance with mages. We made a minute test and it showed that i made 550dmg full combo on dancore (I was 238warlock he was 237pyro).

This magic resistance would do the fallowing:
Mages will laugh at other mages,
Warriors/rangers will survive mages more than before (its not necessarily bad, but it would ruin the balance instead of making it better with every change.
rangers/warrior will deal almost the same damage to rangers/mages as before, rangers will hit even less to warriors (now they are only able to deal decent damage on them with spells.
Bravery will be better again since it takes away damage and its not percentage based.

possible suggestions:
Removing these stats,
stage the resistance (f.e. If damage is 1-100 takes away 5%, if 100-200 takes away 4.5%, if 200-300 takes away 4%, 300+ takes away 3%
Making the item only lootable from bosses which spawns not as often as the others. f.e. once per 30mins.


Its nice to have different stats which makes the game more complex, but if people will be able to get it quick enough, it will ruin the balance. If a guy manages to get all these items within a month or two, he will have extreme power.
Overall i like the fact that loot rate is low, but camping the boss gives too much. If a guy had to do something harder than making lvl 200 and standing still for 50hours to get stronger, then okay. I would say its pretty hard to get belgium pistol, but there are so many of them. Cuz people stay there semi afk. And its all about time, not about efforts. I would love to see a situation where people put efforts and get reward for it. I am not saying all the people who camp bosses are botting there, but lets be honest. What human being would kill 1000 birlusk in a month clicking healing hotkey. Its possible, but ask yourself who would dedicate that much. Especially when he knows someone is not really clicking.

that Blia~ boss is something better. You need at least a small team to camp it, so a guy cant leave his char at work sometimes responding to gms "are you there?" Thats one of the reason why there are not many hellish crossbows or flame scepters.

To sum up,
Before implementing something op, make sure that it wont be camped by some solo lvl 150-200 warrior whos only there to stay semi afk.

You said it's possible to loot same item pieces with differing secondary stats, does that mean we are able to loot all of those new gears with crit hit boost, life steal and mag res randomly?

Maybe make it so that the secondary stats are not working in PVP or partially, 27% magic resistance would be very OP.

How exactly did you end up with level 292, did you die and reverse death or what?


I can tell you my case. Quillion teleported people to some place with new boss to test it out. I was 247. I died instantly after i loged in and downgraded to lvl 242 (i wasnt black skull). I went for death loss recovery in ellaria temple. NPC asked me if i want to recover my death from lvl 247 lvl. I said yes and i advanced to lvl 243 instead of 247. I believe Labaddia couldnt recover his full exp and lost more than supposed to lose in similar way as he also died in that room and appeared in the same temple. Why he lost that much, I am not sure as I am not sure why i lost lost much. It maybe have something to do with new boss.



Thats what happens to me too...

1) Quillon ask for logout to put me in new boss area.
2) I log in in character and died in like 2 seconds.
3) Asked for death loss recovery and paid the tax.
4) The Npc give my exp back, but i went to level 292 with 10k hp o.o.


One more time, today, i tried to play, walk some steps, and the server goes down. Probably is one problem in the "script" of my character.
This should fix if you get a new data base of characters.
