ENGLISH VERSION
* Problems Main Problem - When you are a mage, completing tasks and getting training as reward you will receive Melee and Defending instead of Magic Level and Defending. Additional problem - There are already a lot of mages with a high melee skills by doing these tasks. * Solutions Main Solution - To calculate your magic level, the game count the ammount of mana wasted to level it up. So, when you did a Hard + Long kill task for example, you will receive 72 hours of training. Characters' mana regeneration are 1 of mana per second, so use the hours of training to convert to seconds and add it as if the mage had spent this time/quantity of mana. That's very simple. If the amount of mana "trained", in this case 72 hours, is too high and gives too much magic level, remove 25% of the ammount received (BECAUSE THE EXHAUSTED DOESN'T AFFECT THE MAGIC LEVEL, CHECK THE NEXT REPLY TO MORE INFORMATION). Additional Solution - For the old mages, the game keeps the amount of tasks done per characters, as you need it for the achievement. So just convert the time of task for magic level before implements the new method, if there isn't the possibility of knowing what difficulty/duration/type of task was done, just assume that they all were kill medium-medium, its better than nothing and fair enough, and put the melee skill of all to 1. *Consequences Main Consequence - This will make fair to have training tasks for all classes in game, and can rises the popularity of mages in the servers that it is really low. Besides being one of the most expensive class, it's also the hardest to start and play with, so it would be great to make it more playable and enjoyable for new and old players. Additional Consequence - Doing that the old mages will receive their magic level based in the tasks that they all have done since they begin the game, so it won't be complains about it. ABOUT THE EXHAUSTED
1 - Ok, there are a new proposal, but how about the ehxausted? Why should I do a task, and stay 60 hours of exhausted, instead of hunting these time and up much more magic level? So it has non sense that the exhausted affects the magic level. You think would become too much powerful? Just check the current top melee 165, and magic level only 88, 2 times lower. Plus, imagine how many mana potions this mage have wasted to up this magic level, how many years have been playins and wasting mana. If you consider the proposal and doing a hard-long killing task and receives 72 hours of training, it gives you 72 (hours) * 60 (minutes) * 60 (seconds) = 259.200 seconds or, since it's 1 mana per second, 259.200 mana points wasted. This is the value of only one backpack completely with mana vials, plus it only gives you magic level around 37, just like a ranger and warrior receive after their first hard-long task. However, like i said before, it can be reduced by 50% if necessary. 2 - But, a mage could do tasks and waste potions in a day and up their ml too high. No, the training task with ml as reward, won't up magic level too much. Additionally, hunting with a mage is exhausting for the player. We have a lot of hotkeys to use, run from the creatures, attack them. Doing tasks isn't that easy. Even doing with a party, you can't count on that everytime. If you play by yourself (without guild, fixed party, etc), mage is almost impossible to play and advance in game. So, before talk anything, if you never did it, try a new character now, as mage, without help, without picking items with another character, just like a new player that had never played before, you will feel how difficult it is. |

Just so you know training is VERY important for a mage. Without a decent defending level both monsters and players would destroy a mage with melee.
Secondly, if a mage needs to up their Magic level by turning in tasks the solution is to pick the gold option and you can buy mana potions that in return increase your magic level. Done! |

Done! 1 - That's why i said that the training SHOULD gives ML and DEFENDING. 2 - I have both, warrior and ranger, so it's fair that they both up skills twice faster than the new mages... 3 - Doing tasks it's really exhausting with mages, it's not like warriors that you just watch and press 1 hotkey neither just run away like ranger, but do everything while you heal yourself, and use 3-5 spells. 4 - The gold given in tasks is pretty low quantity, sometimes it still don't pay the waste in hunts 5 - Last but not least, you're saying that as a warrior and ranger it's just do ONE task, up their skill, just wait exhausted and repeat it. Reaching skills 60 easily, while as a mage, I must do loads of tasks, first for up my defending, and then to earn money to then up ml, and still not getting no much ml... |

As long as i remember i need around 200,000 mana vials to get 1m lvl. If i return task for gold and buy nana vials (cheapest manas) i would get lets say 100-150k for kill long task. It would give me 2%. Other than that i would have to spend like 2h spamming spells :/ |

I've given up on a mage because it doesn't worth leveling up, as I couldn't training it on npc with task, it become too hard to play

Yep this topic has been brought up many many times. Maybe someday K-Z will fix it... even if the training only gives a tiny bit of mana usage... it's better than melee skill.
