It's just an idea came in my mind. I don't know if it's possible to do, but could be nice if when you join in zezenia client, you had an option of language. Npcs, quest log, dialogs at all be translate to other language, and players have this option to change the language of all dialogues.
There are many ppl who knows speak, write to translate these from Brazilian, Spanish, Poland, Russian. I think this will helps alot the new players, especially some with not became to Latin like Russian and Poland. |

Translating NPC dialogue, quests, etc. would be a huge feat and require a large army of 100% trustable translators. The task is impossible.

Those people are really weird... it's the only chance for them to learn another language than their own. I started playing Zezenia 7 years ago when I was 13 years old and my english was very poor. It isn't perfect right now but I can write anything I want without using any translator. And those people don't even try to learn it. When they speak to you they ask if you can speak portugeese/spanish. If you don't they won't even try to speak with you. Now they also want everything including npc dialogue, quests etc. translated. People come on and calm down! Start using ur brain, you got it for some reason! |

I understand that it would require a whole (paid) team for that if it was really official, but you could make something like books or NPC dialogues for example available in some text file to an unnoficial translation made by players in some forum category for that. I know also that it seems like an adequate job for a fansite, but you know that fansites require a team to keep a good job and maintain the site updated. Nowadays I think that we don't have an active team to accept a challenge that big (at least for content in portuguese). |

That's reason why I said the option of change language anytime you want, if you want learn English like me, keep the English, but some ppls don't want it and sometimes its desmotivating new players to trying play. I think i was using my brain when i had this idea, but idk, like i said, its just an idea. |

You need to understand that our intention is not to make this game become a brazilian/polish/dutch/swedish or any other country land or something like that. The point is to make the game content easily understandable for people who don't know a lot of english and want to play. When you say that it's a great opportunity for people to learn english, I TOTALLY AGREE with you. I also have learned english by myself. However, as you know because you've experienced that too, it's a long quest to learn it alone and not everyone does have the required time for that. In a country like Brazil for example, there are lots of people that can barely understand simple sentences in english because our public schools are a piece of garbage and can't teach it properly. Many times it isn't an option to know or not to know english for these people. Anyway, they still like to play games like this one where english is needed and they struggle a lot to do and to understand things in game. This is the targeted public of this action. Please don't take it badly, we were just trying to help people. |
