Was just thinking of how to expand the beginning of game to make it more fun to play and learn the game for new players, with some motivation to level.

ALL of these quests should start from the same guy or have clear directions there is no confusion. NPC should also provide the direction to task or quest cave.

Level 1 Quests -
I think the first few quests are good start. Gets you to ~level 5

After the last current quest (Help Willian?)....quest log can read: Once you reach level 7 XXXX will have some more missions for you!

Level 7 Quests -
a. Explore Crab Cave North of Town for Chest Reward: Gloves
b. Ellarians like to have fun when not killing evil monsters too! Find Warzone/Chess/Soccer whatever in Ellaria Reward: Some Potions

After this quest log can read: Once you reach level 10 XXXX will have some more missions for you!

Level 10 Quests-
a. Sneaky Goblins have been stealing items from citizens in east Ellaria - Explore Goblin Cave near Free Boat for Chest Reward: Shield
b. We are constantly holding the monsters back. Visit Thorvald to help in keeping our city safe!- Here get 1 free kill task - then say for more tasks you need premium account!

After this quest log can read: Once you reach level 15 XXXX will have some more missions for you!

Level 15 Quests-
a. For Helping the city of Ellaria so much take this 10,000gp and visit the market to buy some gear!
b.
Will add some if needed.


Right now the quest chain takes you to level 5.... But all you know is the sewer and depot. Still feel totally lost. Need a much longer quest chain to make people excited and getting upgrades consistently as well as understand the big city of Ellaria, how to use boats, etc.

Obviously this could have more of a storyline. I know a lot of people are good at the RPG stuff and could write some cool quest text for this.

We definitely need quests for low lvl

Especially new gear as a reward

That's a good thing for sure. It can make the game so much more interesting for newcomers, specially nowadays that the price of some things are really absurd (you guys know what i'm talking about), what makes the new players want to stop as soon as they notice they can't have access to good stuff so easily. I think this quest could make you reach until lvl 30 and the last mission could be the promotion. Also, during the missions and levels you get, you could get a decent set for a level 30.

That really is a good idea, I love quests and am dying to get more quests for low levels!

Just wanted to bump this.

Excited for the new update. It looks somewhat targeted towards higher levels but I still think the game could really use a nice re-vamp for levels like 1-50

Something to make it fun and interesting and hook players + help teach them the game

If the intro has changed since i wrote this apologies not totally up-to-date on everything ;)

If anyone wants to add their own SPECIFIC quest idea with level, location, reward. Please post here and I will update the first post as I can
