1st June 2014 17:03:14 Quoting Dancore: It's made nice for monsters since they did some abnormal sidestep charges but why to players also? What was wrong with the previous one, it was perfectly fine. And no comment for this exhaust thing, tibia all over again. I wanna see how many more people are you going to lose over this thing. Also the cooldown bars takes abit of a pvp aspect away, and so far with some people i talk'd to nobody liked it. Positive sides are just the new cool city and the fact when you logout and login on the character your bps will be opened as they was before, thats a really nice thing. other bugfixes and game tweaks are good too. Quoting Dancore: some guys said it's harder to target a sidestepping player or vice versa. I also asked a question what was wrong with previous one and why this one came? I saw no complains about previous sidestep it was perfectly fine or is this about the monster charge sidestepping? There was a problem but if you make it slower for monsters you have to make it slower for players also? Quoting K-Zodron: My point is that the sidestepping speed is exactly the same, but the animation speed has changed. I don't understand how such a change (which was made because it looks better) is seen as negative? This new animation is ridiculous. I really don't like it. In real life when people sidestep, they don't just walk sidestepping non stop, they literally jump to sidestep, it's not like just walking beck and forth. Even Tibia doesn't have such thing, I don't know why to implement it. Really weird and somewhat tricky in PvP. Quoting Mieso Armatnie: i bealive beople don;t like it becous of speed change: before it character have the same speed all the time and a little bit of exust while sidestepping. Now every character have speed of runnig strait and speed on runnig sidestep +1. I won't even comment about the exhaust, I already proposed here a small exhaust of 200-400 miliseconds, won't spend anymore time with that. There are several players thinking these changes - more specifically the exhaust than the sidestep tho - are awfull, but they don't even come to forums to state their opinions, I don't know why. They're probably lazy, think Staff won't listen or whatever else reason, dunno. |

Also, people in real life don't sidestep, and if they for whatever reason do, they surely don't move fast and then get "exhausted". It's a bad argument. The reason for removing the exhaust is that it's really bad for beginners players, the popular opinion is that it should be removed (remember the poll?) and most importantly because it gives an advantage to cheaters. Obviously it would be great if we could prevent the use of cheats altogether, but unfortunately that is impossible because this is such a hard thing to detect. I don't think the game will get "too easy", the difference to before is getting exaggerated. |

I don't think the game will get "too easy", the difference to before is getting exaggerated. One thing is having an exhaust that can last seconds. Another thing is having actually NO exhaust. I mean, 0 miliseconds punishment for whoever spams hotkeys? Isn't it pushing it way too harsh to the limit? Why suddently changing from an extreme to the another? An everlasting exhaustion to suddently NO exhaustion? For real? Nothing could be worked out in between, even if something closest to the point of no exhaustion, but with still some unnoticeable exhaustion or anything? When it comes to cheats and cheaters, it might help somehow, but we all know it won't solve anything. It might be helpful, but won't be THE solution to prevent cheating, no? Anyways, I'm done talking about that, what will have to be done will be done. I already stated my opinion about stuff, already know what's sadly gonna happen and already planned to do what I wanna do. |

They target enemy and keep f2 press and just push mana potions, health vials? It isnt too easy? How can u say u can't prevent cheating? You ever ask players about it? For now i can say: Invisible gamemasters who are able to hit and heal players. Game master follow player A and hit him for 1000 in completly suprising and not dangerous situation-then check time of reaction. All auto heals in dp on or resp can be detected easily - u got 150 players gamemaster can even check 1 per day. About combos sorry but ony complete no skill cant cast almost perfect or perfect combo...... |
