First of all, I'm not gonna judge the closure of Tartarus, because I knew it'd happen sooner or later, since few weeks ago.
The problem is that I have a few questions!
1. About the merge Tartarus>Platon
Why don't just close the server and let every single character pick which server he would go, between Platon, Tipitaka and Elysium?
In this case, the hcaracters wouldn't be able to login game, since they'd be "serverless" until they choose one of these 3 servers.

2. Houses
What will happen to everyone's houses from Tartarus?
We are the ones being harmed with the closure of Tartarus, the only limitless pking server, so are we all just gonna lose.our houses and dot?
We deserve some special attention on this houses matter to prevent bigger harmful losses others than the simply fact we paid to play with the thoughts that the server would be PvPE with unlimited Pking and are being already forced againt our will to play in other server type.

3. What about the levels and skills huge differences from a new server and from old servers AND the moral losses we are going to deal with?
What kind of compensation will the lvl 30s and the lvl 100+ from Tartarus receive from this event? Premium cards? skills and experience voucher rewards based on an analgy in between the highscores positions from both servers?


For now, my doubts are only these and I hope you will show some respect for the players from Tartarus and answer this, even tho you are busy.

To everyone in tartarus whining..
Kz himself said that he would close the server if it was unsuccesful.
The server died very fast we all know that some people stayed and pged on a ghost server.. really what do you expect?

Just now we released a small patch to the game, opening up the hunting grounds below Humwich again. Due to some rework being done in preparation for the new areas in the upcoming update, which is coming later, the location of Humwich has changed. House items and owners have been moved to the new location. You can travel to the new Humwich location via boat from Culthan as before, or by walking south over the new little bridge. The patch does not require a client update.

If you find any path to the new areas that should not yet be accessible, please let us know!

Server Merges
As planned for a long time, we will do a little server merge this weekend. We will move all the characters of Tartarus to Platon. The reasoning is that Tartarus is, according to our internal statistics, a very low-population server that we should stop running in favor of new, more popular server options. We will not merge Tipitaka to Platon at this point due to potential latency issues for European players.

New Server
During the weekend we will also open up a new server type in place of Tartarus. It will be a so-called "Speed-rate PVP" server. The mechanics will be the same as the current PVP servers (Platon and Tipitaka), with the following exceptions:

- Experience yield from monsters is 10 times the normal rate
- Highscores will not display speed-rate server players by default
- Level will be capped at 150, skills at 100 (80 for magic level)
- Osvald tasks will only give training or money rewards

Loot rate and skill rate will remain the same as on other server types.

An exact date of the server changes will be announced later this week.
