It never worked to make something this much slower it's really no sense in it and no chance of growing.
Some people here seem to want it this slow, maybe even slower but hey it's not 1972 anymore people don't respond to that.
But yea guys you can give this up because they will use the same old arguements and
result will just be empty servers.
I wish people here had the imagination to understand the exping/skilling here for a more casual gamer.
And yea it's true the game did lack alot of "endgame" back in days and classes were really unbalanced how u could blame it on
something like exp being too fast i just can't see, it was about 2.5x of what it is now plus a damage formula that suited new players much better.

I agree totally, people liked grinding a lot back in the day take Tibia 7.1 for example people loved going to dwarf guards for 40k/h max but that was back then, people don't like sitting in one cave for 3-4 hours just to get a level at low levels, that's why Tibia has changed and why multiple other games have a cap and let you get to that cap as fast as possible.

People on these forums at the moment are the loyal customers of Zezenia who have been here for years and will play the game no matter what, but I rarely see a new face playing and sticking to the game but only KZ can say exactly how many people start and stay or how long until they leave the game.

I made a new character as if I was new to see what people would say (I was a warrior), so I went in to chat and said hey I'm a new player what should I do I'm a warrior, multiple messages said to me "Train you can AFK overnight aswell" so I responded what should I train till and the majority said 40+ which would take weeks of 24/7 training.

To a brand new player to the game I think that would be a huge put off never mind having to grind tedious monsters for 20-30 hours to get to 20-30+, In the current state it is not noob/casual friendly, if a casual wanted to play a warrior or ranger they would be getting around half to one skill per day at 22 skills, and at 22 skills you can barely kill a ghoul (makes it even worse if they haven't got a 20.5 damage bow like me).

All I'm saying is it is way too slow to see any gain in your character and most people will not last long enough to see the good hunts.

If you delete the afk training system, the game will drop it "225 players are currently online in the game" , for that "25 players are currently online in the game". It was just an example.

Making it "faster" will make the game get boring even faster....
New map (with hunting places and even new monsters) would be required, cause you'd be using the same xp, but making more xp/h.

I took 3 months to get from lvl 1 to 100, I don't think that's a lot... Didn't require much o my time either.

Stop saying non-sense about empty servers, and people not liking the game...
The game get's boring after a while cause you hunted everything and made every quest available and then you keep dying for a power abuser...
Making a new server with the same map, same hunting places, same everything won't fill with 1000 players as you guys think it will...
The whole "problem" of this game, isn't the experience rate...

Okay first of all it's not really making it faster because it's now slower then it was to begin with.
You need to see that theres a difference between 100x exp and a casual newcomer friendly rate.

You say you took lvl 100 in 3 months..
Either u are lieing, don't have a clue what day or time its been the past 10 years, abused osvald, or played way more then you claim.
You say if it's faster to lvl up people get bored faster, maybe some do abit faster and you stated why. Because of the lack of quests and whatever.
Whats the sense in grinding that in a even slower phase if the "endgame" is bad?
I think i'm sure that if Kz actually made a character himself, a ranger for example he would get more insight in why people quit or simply can't take it after a while.
You have to think outside ur own mind and try to understand the reality for others, if you try to counter that arguement to me
I can make a list and tell you how much u are right, but it doesnt change the reality for most gamers today, which is very clear in other games and our active online count.

Even though new content is really needed, like some people said, I still think there is some flaw on making new players stick to the game. The true is that most of ppl that play Zezenia nowadays are oldschool players, so they are not a 'reliable' player-base in terms of knowing if the game is good for newcommers.
And the issue is not advertising, like many people claim. I'm pretty sure Zezenia is known around the Tibia/OTServer community, but most of people just dislike the game.

Its true, formula of levels experience should be lowered. You guys dont know how this formula looks. Most important is formula's multiplier (115, right now). I checked many variants of this value in excel, and in my opinion it should be decreased by 15 - 30 (85 - 100). Tomorrow I will add more info (exp tables with alternative multipliers). Now i cant.

Another problem, skills... Current system is bad, really bad.

Thanks a lot for the replies and constructive feedback, I thought I would of got a lot more negative harsh feedback from this community by now, as an outsider looking in (As I've come back from a huge break and played various games in my time away [Tera/Wow/Tibia/Last chaos/Rift/OTs] along with others) I've came with some feedback from not only me but various other members of the existing community and from a few friends who quit the game after the exp stage change.

In the current state of the game if a level say 20-30 goes hunting (not with the best eq like most people) with normal noob eq you can be hunting in a spawn for 2-3 hours for a level and in that time you barely get any drops or see much movement in your skills. The way I see it is a time = reward type of thing and at current you don't see that till later levels, but then that also brings in the point of longer times for leveling and other factors.

I just find that the skills and levels take way to long to come in for a casual type of player, like if I play 2 hours a day imagine how long it would take me in the current game to get to 100, that also includes a huge amount of time training my skills if I'm a Ranger or Warrior (I'm guessing maybe 8-12 month maybe longer).

People need to see things from a new players point of view not from a person who is already playing the game, that's why I suggested these new changes on a new world as this wouldn't affect the people who don't agree with faster leveling or skilling (If it did happen I would say at least 60% of the current player base would go to the new world)

I've even offered to pay for the server myself until it is self sustaining, keep the feedback coming and please state why you object to this and not just "NO I like to play the game while not playing the game".

well many players that i invited to play they quit since exping was hard from them and they liked to be more easy i like how its now but mayebe really needs a re-work for new customers get more inside the game and keep playing it and not quit it fast kinda like a lvl 35 mages take about 2 hours to make a lvl its shoudl be reduced atleast for 1 hour

they loved the pvp and the features but lvleing for them was hard they quit about lvl 15-25
