The Zezenia Online Public Test Server is once again open to all players! Download the Test Client to log in. Plase note that the Test Server is based on a recent snapshot, so all of your character's progress may not be up to date.

Here's what's new:



A new challenge is coming to Zezenia Online in the form of Ironborn Mode, a fully self sufficient gameplay mode! Ironborn characters may not receive any assistance from other players and must loot their own items and equipment to survive in the game world. Do you have what it takes to pull yourself up by the bootstraps and become a self made hero?

Ironborn Mode is coming first to the upcoming Zezenia Season 9, after which it will be generally available on all current and future Game Worlds to come. Stay tuned for more news on the future of Zezenia Online!

To test Ironborn Mode invoke the !ironborn command to toggle your character. In addition, the !tutorial command can be used to completely reset a character to level one. (There is no going back!) Please note that in the live game Ironborn Mode will be a permanent one time toggle selected upon character creation.



Previously closed off parts of the undiscovered New Continent are opening for business, with new quests coming soon! In the first preview high level players can face a new, tough family of the Orc race with Orc Archmages, Orc Sharpshooter, Orc Brutes and Orc Crushers.



Make the Zezenia game client yours with new font choices: Modern, a sans-serif font that is easy on the eyes, and Book, an RPG style serif font for a refined book appearance.



Did you find a bug in the new features, most importantly Ironborn Mode? Be sure to report your findings in this thread, through a support ticket (email [email protected] or open a ticket in the official Discord server) or using CTRL + R ingame, and you may be eligible to receive a Bug Bounty Reward!

Reported findings from new Test Server Heroes will be rewarded according to their severity. Rewards will include Premium Cards, Premium Time and a possibility to receive an exclusive new contributor award to show off!

Dear Adventurers,

Zezenia Online proudly presents our annual Christmas Event, where teamwork is the key to decorating the Grand Christmas Tree, bringing great milestone rewards & holiday gifts to all participating players! Read on for all the new & old details for this year's celebrations.



From Thursday December 18th to January 7th (Server Save) players will embark on a quest to collect delightful decorative items to adorn our magnificent tree. Each decoration you gather will play a vital role in bringing the festive spirit to life in Zezenia!




As you log in to Zezenia Online today, you will notice the Event Progress Bar. Adding decorations to the tree will increment the progress bar, and finishing milestones will unlock events and add decorations to the Grand Tree!

Common decorations such as Christmas Cards, colored ornaments and more are dropped by almost all monsters in the game world. Become this year's Secret Santa by sending out cards to other players, and liven up the place by hanging various decorations around the world! Will you be able to do enough to claim all the milestones and rewards in time? The pace of the event is much accelerated this time around, so don't miss it!

And more, once the event progresses you will be able to ask Santa Claus for hints on where to find the rarest decorations to put the finishing touches on the tree. Finding the rarest collectibles of them all will yield the greatest individual rewards after the event!

To add to the challenge this year, the Evil Snowman's Christmas Goblins are scheming to raid the tree and remove its decorations! It's up to the community to keep watch on the tree and prevent the celebrations from being spoiled.



In addition, new yearly rewards in the form of an exclusive Santa Training Doll and Reindeer Pet Scroll will become available if the tree is decorated in time. Keep an eye out for further details on how to acquire these brand new rewards...



The Evil Snowman's lair is also open again for raiders. Look out for this year's edition of Evil Snowman's Dungeon Tickets to enter the time limited Christmas Dungeon!



As new milestones are reached in the event, all players will get to take part in the following server wide rewards:

- Two (2) decorations returned: +5% Global Experience Bonus
- Four (4) decorations returned: +5% Global Experience Bonus
- Six (6) decorations returned: -10% Monster Defense Debuff
- Eight (8) decorations returned: +10% Player Speed Buff
- Ten (10) decorations returned: +10% Market Rate on NPC sell prices
- Twelve (12) decorations returned: +10% Global Loot Rate

These milestone rewards begin as soon as the required number of decorations are returned to the tree, and last until the end of the event on January 7th (Server Save). In addition to milestone rewards shared by the entire server, participants in the event will receive individual rewards after the event based on the quality and rarity of their returned decorations!



After the event ends players will receive the second set of rewards for completing the Grand Tree! First, all players will get to take part in the following server wide rewards:

- Make A Wish: let us know in this thread what you would like to see! All requests will be considered by the staff within reason.

Second, all players who participate in returning the decorations (Santa's Little Helper achievement) receive:

- Christmas 2025 Event Badge: shown on your forum character profile.
- Personal Gift Parcel: a small holiday gift depending on the number and rarity of decorations returned.

A Zezenia Online Game Update has been released. The game client will update automatically. Steam users may need to restart the app to receive updates.

Here's what's new in this update:



The fresh new Modern Theme brings a round, easy on the eyes appearance to the game client. Part of the Zezenia Ascendant Gameplay initiative, this visual update is one of the first parts of modernizing the visual appearance of the game. The old Classic Theme can still be found in the game options.



Armadillork & Hellish Gladiator Hardcore Hunting Zones are now open to recommended levels 300 and 400+.






The Vanguard Dungeon is now open to those who master the forging of a vanguard key. Complete the dungeon fifty times for the newly added noble titanium boots, a formidable pair of late game equipment.

The Halloween season has returned to Zezenia Online! Prepare for spooky occurences as you sign in to the Game Worlds during the Halloween Events. Don't miss this chance to claim the yearly rewards, including the Halloween Dungeon achievement, pumpkinhead accessory, exclusive Halloween items & decorations and more!

A warp in the space time continuum has unleashed the past once again! Look hard enough and you may find prehistoric Retro Monsters roaming the lands of Zezenia. These ancient creatures drop a little bit of extra experience for a holiday bonus!



That's not all: a mysterious Time Portal to a bygone era has appeared in the Ellarian graveyard! For a million gold fee, you can race against the clock inside the portal to secure some of the rarest loot for a limited time only. Will you take a gamble with the chances?


The Time Warp is appropriate for players level 30+. One player may enter the Time Warp dungeon for 10 minutes at a time.





The Halloween Dungeon is open to brave adventurers looking to confront the seasonal boss Screwou. Will you be lucky enough to loot the Halloween Equipment pieces? Complete the dungeon 5 times for the Halloween achievement and 20 times to unlock the newly added Pumpkinhead Headpiece usable on many classic outfits!


The Halloween Dungeon difficulty scales by player level and can be entered by 1-5 players at a time. Entrance tickets are dropped by surprise...




Ellaria's Graveyard Keeper Gorvenal is once again ready to outfit those who dare disturb his peace. Speak to him for a chance to claim exclusive Halloween themed character outfits! Be careful: claimed outfits are removed if the Character Builder is modified in any way.







The Halloween Events are on until Server Save on Wednesday November 5th. After this time it's time to say goodbye to everything mentioned above for another year, so don't miss it!

The Eight Season of Zezenia Online has come to an end! Thanks to all players who participated on the Seasonal Server. Check your Account Page to transfer your characters to Elysium & Pharos and continue the journey!

In addition, the Season Points Shop is now open for business once again. Your season points will become available for use after transfering each character.

The Golden Lottery & Hall of Fame winners will be released later this weekend after all results are verified.

The Season 8 Outfit will become accessible account wide on the next Server Save at October 22nd. As promised, the outfit scroll(s) will be returned to your inventory after character transfer. Redeeming them on any character will grant access to the entire account.
