Zezenia Season Eight is over: transfer your character

The Eight Season of Zezenia Online has come to an end! Thanks to all players who participated on the Seasonal Server. Check your Account Page to transfer your characters to Elysium & Pharos and continue the journey!

In addition, the Season Points Shop is now open for business once again. Your season points will become available for use after transfering each character.

The Golden Lottery & Hall of Fame winners will be released later this weekend after all results are verified.

The Season 8 Outfit will become accessible account wide on the next Server Save at October 22nd. As promised, the outfit scroll(s) will be returned to your inventory after character transfer. Redeeming them on any character will grant access to the entire account.

Zezenia Season Eight ends this weekend. Here is a a list of questions & answers on what will happen after the season ends:

End of Season

The season ends on Saturday October 18th 18:00 (UTC). At this time the Ares & Gaia game worlds will shut down, and characters will become transferable to Elysium or Pharos at www.zezeniaonline.com shortly after. The Season Points Shop will be open for business with brand new and familiar deals on Outfit Scrolls, Pet Scrolls, Premium Items & more!

Personal Checklist

To make sure that you're ready to transfer, complete the following steps:

Equipment Transfer

If your character has a Total Level (including Rebirth) of 150 or above it is eligible to transfer one set of equipment to permanent game worlds. Equip the set to be transferred in your equipment slots before the season ends.

Please note that placing non-equipment, non-transferable items in the equipment slots will have no effect. In addition, each piece of equipment must be usable by the character being transferred.

The following equipment may NOT be transferred and will always be lost on season end:

Seasonal Rewards

Redeem all seasonal rewards from NPC Rewardo outside the Ellaria depot before the season ends. Seasonal reward items are kept in character inventory.

If you have redeemed the Season 8 Outfit Scroll(s) they will be returned to the inventory of the character after transfer.

Cash Transfer

Deposit any gold & diamonds in your inventory or house into the bank. Up to five (5) million gold in balance will be kept on transfer. Balance above this cap will be converted into noble Zezenian coins at a rate of 300 000 gold.

Character Transfers

- The character level is capped at level 200 on Elysium and level 300 on Pharos. Skills cap at level 100. Magic level caps at level 75.
- Achievement & Bestiary progress is preserved on transfer.
- Zezenium ores are preserved on transfer.
- Challenge points are transfered at a 1x rate.
- Quest progress is reset.
- Season Points are deposited to your account and available for use on the Season Points Shop.

Interdimensional Champion Outfit

The Season Eight Outfit Scroll has dropped! Claim your rewards now from NPC Rewardo while the Season is still on. Here is a primer on how the Outfit Scroll and Addon Scrolls work:

- The Interdimensional Champion Outfit comes in four Scrolls: the Season Eight Outfit Scroll, Season Eight Warrior Addon Scroll, Ranger Addon Scroll & Mage Addon Scroll.

- Unlock the base outfit, aura, helmet & first addon scroll at level 300, and the other two addons at levels 400 and 500 (or level 300 + 100 and 300 + 200 after Rebirth).

- Use the scrolls during the active season to unlock the outfit and addons on your current character. When the season ends, the scrolls will be returned to your inventory.

- Once the season concludes, the outfit becomes permanently available account-wide across all characters. The outfit is tied to whichever character redeems the scrolls, and can be traded along with the character on the Bazaar.

Golden Elites Lottery

The Golden Elites Event is now live! With the tick of every hour, a handful of super rare Golden Elite Monsters spawn on Ares & Gaia Game Worlds. Locate and defeat them to earn an extra 50 Season Points per kill and a chance at a golden lottery ticket!

The Golden Lottery Drawing will be held on Season End on Saturday, October 18th. Three lucky winners will receive 50 000, 25 000 and 15 000 Season Points each, and every ticket in your inventory increases the chance of winning!

Just as a reminder, the Season Points Shop will open on Season End with a chance to purchase Outfit (10 000 points) & Pet Scrolls (15 000 points), Experience Boosts & Premium Shop items and much more starting at prices of just 1000 points.

Note: the Golden Lottery is purely an ingame item based event and has no monetary value.

Season 8 Outfit Scroll

The Interdimensional Champion Outfit & Outfit Addon Scrolls are about to come out this week! Please give us a little more time to perfect the details, as this will be the defining standard for all future outfits to come. Since there have been many questions about the mechanics, here is a primer:

- Consuming the Outfit Scroll on a character will add the base outfit & class specific accessory to that character.
- Consuming one or two Addon Scrolls available at levels 400 and 500 will unlock the other two class accessories on that character.
- After Season Eight ends the outfit will become available account wide on all characters on all worlds.
- Access to the outfit is bound to ownership of the character that was used to redeem the scroll.

- Hailstorm now has a 20% chance of slowing down players in PvP for three (3) seconds.
- Traps slowdown has been reduced in PvP.
- Slowdown from tile based modifiers such as Traps or Hailstorm no longer stacks with paralysis buffs such as Spread Shot.

- Made more optimizations to game networking & server performance including the analyzer & bestiary.
- Fixed instances where a monster could teleport on a level up or down tile.

Game Rules Update

To ensure a fair and balanced competition for everyone a new Game Rule has been added:

The use of multiple clients to gain an advantage is forbidden. (Results in a warning or variable length ban at GM discretion.)

We would like to remind all players to follow the Game Rules at all times to play fair, and that the use of third party software is forbidden. Game Masters will be stepping up enforcement of the new rules immediately.

Season 8 Outfit Update

The promised Season Eight outfit is undergoing the final touches to enable all of its new features. We are excited to announce that this Seasonal Outfit will be the first of its kind to apply account wide, making it possible to wear this exclusive reward on all present and future Game Worlds to come!

The Outfit Scroll will be available to redeem from NPC Rewardo soon. To earn the base outfit and class accessory you must reach level 300. To unlock the other two accessories you must reach cumulative levels 400 & 500 (level 300 + level 200 after Rebirth, or level 500 without Rebirth). Make your choice to redeem the scroll carefully, as binding it to a game account will hold forever in place!
