Due to the recent threads of players proposing various things that we have confirmed a few times already anyway, we thought it would be a wise decision to sum everything up here to avoid more duplicates of these threads. But before that, let's take a look at what the update is gonna bring and why it takes so long. Just like the at the subclass introduction update, we are adding a huge amount of new spells, the ones this time, as some of them require more players to be casted, are fairly complex, too. Spells are generally very time-consuming because they require an animation, a spell button and a piece of code and lots of testing. Luckily though, this will most likely be the last time ever we introduce such a great amount at spells at once, resulting in further updates either being done faster or containing more new things.

Mapwise, we will complete Norrlun with a new town and its surroundings, very likely improve Sakanrel and also add one or two sacred islands. These islands have a special purpose that will be explained in a later announcement. Questwise, we will introduce an NPC that will make a lot of players, especially those who have no training partner, very happy. This NPC will challenge you on demand, giving you a quest in which you either need to kill monsters, collect items or explore a place.

You can decide the difficulty (easy/medium/hard) as well as the length (short/medium/long) of the quest. If you ask for a completely random quest, you will get an extra 25% of the reward. Speaking of the reward, after you have completed the task, you can choose whether you'd like experience, gold or training. This NPC is also taking a big amount of time, but we hope it will be worth it. We are not sure how many other quests we will be able to introduce, but we hope that time will allow at least a few.

At this update, we will also attempt to balance and improve the PvP combat in particular as well as the entire game. So far, these are the most important confirmed changes:

- increased loot rate
- increased experience rate of stronger monsters
- lowered HP of some of the stronger monsters
- increased party experience
- directional spells costing less mana but dealing more damage than their equivalents
- increased prices to sell to NPCs

There are also a few unconfirmed ones, as soon as they are certain, we will inform you about possible changes.

=) Excited, can't wait until the ranger class is balanced PVM and all spells are properly saw to being fixed....!!!!
