The update is quite a bit ago now and the skill growth should be fixed now, but despite being incredibly better, is it already there where it should? My main point is, does training take too long (mainly in the beginning), or is it alright? I was thinking whether having certain experienced NPCs "train" with players as in showing them a few fighting moves resulting in them instantly gaining a lot of skill points. This for example could be done as a quest reward, but is it necessary? Warriors/Rangers are free to voice their opinion as long as they can justify it.

I think the way this is good, however if the percentages should add bar skills would be better for the so ppl can know how long he needs to train to achieve the desired level.

I don't think skilling to terribly bad. I think there just needs to be more monsters in the mid-skill range for killing.

It's not like I can elaborately tell if it's really good now, but with the ability to train whenever and for how long you want, plus the new skill formula, it seems to be alright now. That new formula boosted my skills from like 14/13 to 21/20, and I haven't played that much, nor did I train very much. So with a little bit more effort, getting skills isn't really a problem I suppose.
Only thing I consider detrimental for low levels is having too few monsters to hunt, something that makes the gap from low to mid level monsters too big, which is why some might think skills need to go faster, or why people hunt for so long in OF. Something like this. |

I like the way you can train when you want for as long as you want the only problem is, cause there isn't a whole lot of people online it is really hard to find someone to train with and monsters just aren't viable to train with at the moment.
The only thing I could suggest is.. 1. Let mage's have a summoning spell that summons a healing low defended monster 2. Have a few type's of monsters with a lot of HP that don't hit much and lowish defence 3. and last but not least, add a NPC where you pay him to train you where you can get extra skill % per day (not instead) |

Vampires are avaliable at level 52 but they also have a lot more defence. |
