Greetings everyone,
As some of you know - I love to explore and... I love to find little flavours that designers left for us. I just thought that it would be really nice, helpful and interesting to use things that I've mentioned in the thread's title a little bit more often. I've found a lot of signs and statues that were not used how they should be - there was nothing written on them. As we all know - statues, for an example, are built to commemorate great people or events that are important historically. Most of those that I've found in Zezenia were just statues - looking at them was quite dissapointing as they didn't inform me about anything. Some signs should be placed around dangerous areas, or should indicate ways to other cities or villages. Like near a hole in ents spawn to south-west of Caerfa in which I've died once in approximately half of a second. (1. What the hell is a fire being doing with walking trees?! ;) 2. Thanks to Laku for bringing my lost equipment from there!) If it's necessary - I might take a walk around those areas again to provide minimaps or screenshots explaining which of those were not used. I think that it won't take much time to complete them either, as the history is already created in some parts.

I'll try to pick some of those signs tomorrow and give some precise proposals about them then :)

I agree, but it does require background stories and that is not easy to do.

I wouldn't be so sure about it! We were working on some of them with Hyuga already and it comes up pretty fast to complete one or another. Also - there are tons of interesting and important stuff in books already, which could be used at some point :)

Well, I am, about certain cases of how you want to commemorate something. Great people or great events would require a bit more than a few lines to shed light on how it came to be. For simple signs it's not a problem of course, I'm glad you've already come up with stuff, adds to the rpg part and that is something everbody will like.

I love the idea. If there's anything that I can do to contribute, I would be glad to give it a go.

Jabbawack, just walk around and look for things that you would expect to deliver some type of information... and make a post regarding what you think that information would be.
