To move your character you simply use the directional keys on your keyboard. Alternatively, you can use your numpad (with numlock turned off), which enables you to move diagonally as well. You can also click around on the map to move automatically.

To turn your character, simply hold your control key (CTRL) and press a directional key.

When you are done with playing you can log out by pressing your control key (CTRL) and L at the same time. You may also just close the client. Logging out is not possible immediately after a battle!

The minimap is a great tool that will help you if you get lost or just want to see how things look like. When you explore new areas they are automatically added to your minimap.

To scroll around the minimap press the right button your mouse (on the map) and drag. To zoom in or out, use the scrolling wheel on your mouse. You can use the buttons below the map to view upper floors, lower floors or center the minimap.

There are a variety of stuff that you can use as weapons, armory and other things. You can see what an item is by holding your control key (CTRL) and pressing the first (left) mouse button on the object. To move items, simply drag & drop them. Some items can also be used to do an action by right clicking on them.

There are a few settings you can modify to make playing Zezenia more enjoyable for yourself. You can access the options dialog by pressing Options in the welcome screen or the Options-button in the inventory dialog ingame.

Pressing shift while right clicking your own character will pop up a character outfit configuration window where you can choose from several looks and set the color of your hair, body, legs and feet.
