Quoting Doggy: Quoting Baltas: If we make both warlock buff raise to 30% and shaman dmg goes lower by 10%. Here what we will have. about buff, if warlock gets 30% absorbing aura it would be 42% if you would count it to extra hp for warlock and 40% to shaman. So warlock gets 42/40= 1.05x better buff (atm its 40/25=1.6x shaman buff better) About dmg. if warlock deals 1000dmg, shaman would do 900= 1000/900=1.1x warlock stronger. Yep, warlock would be stronger in 1vs1 against shaman, and its supposed to be like this. About pyro 20+20 buff = 40% which equals 66.7% (if u count as extra hp) against warlock 66.7/42=1.59x better Dmg against warlock 1100/1000= 1.1x better Thats why it is supposed to be Pyro>warlock>shaman Gimme some proof which says that it's supposed to be like so?!? Or it's just your point of view about how stuff should work, or how you would like stuff to work? My understanding as to why pyro>warlock>shaman leads me to look at the mana used in the combo spells. I dont know how much is used in each combo, but doesnt the amount of mana used in each subclass's combo's go Pyro (most amount of mana) Warlock ( second costly amount of mana for 1 combo) and then shaman (least amount of mana used for damage combo, also shaman is more of a support class then an offensive class?) Is this quoted from zezenia book? Quoting Baltas: Calm and silent peaceful and friendly. This description suits almost every shaman. Their strenght is everything, but surely no brutal force. Compared to pyromancers and warlocks, their pure combat damage might seem weak, but their abilities are extremely fascinating.

You are right Bouraine. Here we can see mana cost for 2 strongest spells for all mage sub classes Shaman rock thrust 350mana thunder bolt 145mana Warlock Death blow 450mana life drain = 160mana Pyromancer inferno 550mana meteor shower 180mana Edit: Is this quoted from zezenia book? Well then if the zezenian book say so then that looks to be the solid proof doggy was looking for and proof of why the combo damage should be the way you say it is, pyro>warlock>shaman Also you take the time to explain your point better then I do Baltas. |

Quoting Baltas: You are right Bouraine. I'm glad we all agree about that more mana spells take, more effective they are. So, shaman's combo is made at lvl 47? warlock's 53? and pyro's 63? If shaman makes now around 900 combo, then warlock deals around same 900, with curse 950~? and pyro deals 950~?. (I'm not totally sure about numbers, so just tell if you know more correct ones) Now let's see.. Shaman, since it's around 6lvls less than warlock's combo, which is 90 mana less, it should do like 800 dmg. Warlock should deal 900 as it does now, curse in my opinion still should get changed to put target's attack weaker, not more weaker for attacks, but whatever, should do with curse 950. And pyro, who's combo is around 10lvls more than warlock, it should deal around 1000-1050 dmg. Well, that's just for showing the way. But, since we all agree that more mana spell takes, more effective it is. Let's take a look to buffes. Warlock's buff, 250 mana, 150 sec duration. Shaman's buff 375 mana 180 sec duration. Pyro's buff, 350 mana, 120 sec duration. So, for warlock, it's 1.67mana per second, for shaman 2.08 mana per sec and for pyro 2,92mana per second. Then, let's take a look bad sites of buffes, warlock=none, shaman=less mana, raises hp, so needs more healing to back full hp than others, pyro, blocks 25% of dmg with mana. When I look those facts, I don't see any point to change buffes stronger/weaker. Only damage needs fixing, nothing else. |

i stated pvp situation between warlock and shaman, and if warlock would make 10% more dmg than shaman, That friendly and peaceful natural mage would be still stronger than darkness warlock. |

I found out something new about pyro buff. It's not 25% vanishes + 25% blocked by mana. It's actually 35% vanishes!!!!!! and 15% goes to mana. Not to forget warlock has only 20% absorbing aura, difference is just too crazy. bulve bulve bulve |
